  • I like Brave because it's fast and smooth with great AdBlock and security.

  • That my dear friend would be beautiful little Africa.

  • Google and Samsung both have a track record of delivering updates even past the promised date so far.

  • Their phones are far too expensive and their software support is horrible.

  • The reader being under the screen makes the most sense in my opinion. It's the part of the phone you touch the most. And speed is a non issue anymore. Ultrasonic sensors are about as fast if not faster than the old capacitive ones now. They're also as accurate in my experience and after a while I've learned to put my finger exactly where it is so it's a non issue. It also unlocks when my finger is wet unlike the older capacitive ones which is huge for me. So in conclusion I disagree. Fingerprint sensors should be in display and ultrasonic.

  • You should. I always keep mine updated.

  • Haven't used F-Droid since I started using GrapheneOS on my Pixel lol. Just use Obtainium.

  • Fmovies WHAT? NOOOOOOOOO

  • I got a Galaxy S24+ Exynos for 750 USD this year with Galaxy Buds 2 Pro bundled in. It was one heck of a deal. I've been living it. Should last me long time.

  • Nah, you're using your own API key.

  • Works for free if you patch it with ReVanced.

  • Hopefully they have a fix for the battery drain on Android. People have been reporting unusually high drain on Reddit, on Bugzilla and on Mozilla support since January and they still haven't managed to fix it.

  • Honestly, at this point I kinda prefer to go on Reddit. I'm getting tired of all the tech/FOSS talk and there's so much doom and gloom on here it just bums me out.

  • I don't tell people about the Fediverse.

  • Well that was 18% of 90% so still awful drain regardless.

  • Well here's the drain I was talking about at least. 18% in less than an hour and thirty minutes of use for a web browser isn't normal. In an hour of use a Chromium browser only drains 6-7 ish % for me. This has been an issue for I guess the past month or so? It drove me crazy so I had to uninstall. And it's not just me either, there are tons of posts from people with the same problem on Reddit. If you don't have problems, good for you I guess.
