Mint, then Ubuntu, then Kubuntu, elementaryOS, Manjaro, then I gave up Linux for a while because I needed remote desktop for my PC at work, now back on PopOS!
As long as people think it's too cold in the UK for them to work or that you need to insulate your house to a level that'll make you drown in black mould, I don't have much hope
A thought on Berlin: while it's relatively easy to live there speaking just English, there is a big "expat bubble" that, in my experience, doesn't really interact with the locals. As a local, I've always found that a bit sad
