  • Fear the engineers of the ancients, as one fears the physicists of today.

  • Hwi Noree has entered the chat. "Let's go to the nono-room baby."

  • I think the idea of Ziegeπ Fed as a tongue and cheek kind of name twist for a logo is clever but I have no idea about the German cultural relevance, like if that carries the same snarky understated self deprecating type of layered meaning. That could make a goat the mascot. Goats eat anything, 'hippie/stubborn group of lady goats' sounds to me like the most apropos description of a social link aggregator. This would open up branding and brand image substantially.

  • Some people have a more steady hand than others. Like I can do professional sign lettering, but it is super difficult and slow for me to do because I do not have very steady hands.

I can paint stuff like candies (dye based paints that get infinitely darker with overlapping), and pearls, that are both shot basically blind by intuition and muscle memory, but I cannot see hand written lettering and what I want to project onto the page, in advance of actually drawing it. I'm more like a bushwhacker with a machete most of the time.

  • Ah, most here have been around 1984 when people get to talking and sharing. In socials, we tend to group together in strange unintentional ways like this.

  • Dogma is scary blind.

I can't even begin to explain how long I let the duality of religion fester with reality before I was motivated to action. To tell the truth, it was primarily the lack of quality friends and people to talk to about my curiosities and interests more than it was any epiphany of logic. I knew the facts and reality but the partition did not care in the slightest. The only way to change someone like that is being openly welcoming and accepting; to be a better tribe to join.

  • The most I ever got was burning hot spots from acid. It dries out my skin a whole lot and feels like it will flaky fall apart. So I did not know on this level or anything. Thanks.

The one that used to really bother me most while painting cars was lacquer thinner. The true virgin stuff is fine, but the reclaimed stuff has something caustic in it. Not only does it react with paint differently, but get a spot of it on the skin occasionally, and like 10 minutes later, oh god the burning was terrible. That happened many times when I would be doing something like clear coat that I could not stop until I reached a break point where I could hide the haze.

  • I tend to lack the patience to make mine nice. It requires a lot of focus. There must be a fundamental difference with people that have very nice natural handwriting. I'm curious what that might be and how others perceive themselves in that space.

Even with graphics on cars and motorcycles I rough sketched in several light strokes before establishing a more solid line. I want to write in a similar way. I almost have a subconscious mindset like each letter should be a draft with revisions or something. I do not have a vision of how I want the letter to look so I just slop something down like a rough draft. Then it is functionally readable, and I can't easily refine it so I move on.

Maybe it was that day in school when the teacher made me chose what hand to write with. It bugged me so much that neither hand was dominant and no matter how much the teacher insisted that I have a dominant hand, neither felt any different, so eventually she decided for me that I was right handed... and I still have not forgiven her.

That is the moment in school when most of us selected our handedness. That is an impactful moment in life. In terms of competitive sports it may define your potential in many areas. It leads down this path of the psychology of writing.

  • It is not a crime and will blow over in time. His base has no depth or memory. This will be, Bill asked for it and how could he say no.

  • Go watch Breaking Bad again. Starts with the DIY version of this.

Strong acids or bases do the same thing. Heat and mixing helps.

When doing photolithography type printed circuit boards at home, you are dancing on both sides. The photo sensitive film is applied, masked and exposed. One part of the film, exposed or unexposed depending on the type, is then dissolved in a lye solution. The rest of the film is exposed to more UV. Then the exposed copper is etched in acid. Finally the remaining photomask is removed with a strong lye solution. Both the final lye and acid are usually accelerated by raising the temperature. Both suck to get on your skin. Leave your skin in either solution and it will dissolve too. The more concentrated and hotter the solution, the faster it will dissolve.

  • From the rape and pedo stuff – absolutely. The outcome of focusing on Clinton is politically neutralizing and has likely made everything else contained irrelevant background news. It is humiliating to Trump, but not actually politically damaging at all. That is a perfectly calculated distraction to focus the public on by design.

  • Focusing on Trump and Bill is a propaganda distraction.
