nah, that's generally frowned upon among the people who do chemistry at home both because it's not economically viable, will get you in jail and it may cause further restrictions on chemicals, which nobody wants or needs
I mostly do energetics/explosives on a small scale and the occasional organic synthesis

And that's what I (probably in a bad way) implied in my first message, nitromethane requires to be sensitized with something like ammonium nitrate (to make ANNM) or with ethylene diammine (to make PLX) (or really with any basic substance, even sodium hydroxide you get as a drain cleaner can work, but it gets too sensible and can detonate on its own while you work on it)
I trust that others will maintain proper naming conventions when publishing maps and not buckle under the pressure of a thin skinned toddler and his cult followers.
