One use case is if you're running a web server that is configured to return a "maintenance" page instead of the live site if a particular file exists. Which is actually pretty cool because then you don't have to update the config when you need to do something or let your users get a bunch of 502 errors, you just touch maintenance and you're good.
It amazes me when I spin up some random server on a cloud provider and it's immediately getting tons of traffic from bots searching for insecure ssh servers and default WordPress admin credentials and then like. If that's the short of stuff they're counting, I'd believe it. But yeah, it's not like all the commenters on this post are bots.
Yes, that is correct. It's one of the strategies you learn when you start diving in to lucid dreaming. Another is to look at some writing (maybe even this sign) and look away and look back, it will say something else if it's a dream.
I got really into lucid dreaming when I was younger, but I couldn't fly because I guess I just have no imagination, so I gave up.
