  • I never used linux and was surprised how easy and almost seamless the transiton was.

  • What are the issues? Genuine question.

  • What are the issues? Genuine question.

  • My dog refuses to poop in our yard. Has no issues in any other, just not at home.

Once, he had a diarhea and wanted outside. I was a couple of times in the span of couple of hours so I thought fuck it, I will use it - I let him out and thought when he can't hold anymore, he will let it out and I will try to make it a training excercise for him to see it's ok. Nope! Had to take him in the end because he was shaking in front of the fence gate, tail between legs, looking at me desperately.

So I had to accept he would rather die than to let poop out in his yard.

  • So - both hind legs are in the air, am I reading this correctly? Would love to see that lol

  • Not until there are NATO boots on the ground, or NATO recognizes it is at war. Russia is already saying it is, NATO just didn't get the memo yet I guess.

You are right in saying Russia kinda made it a world war. I guess with just the one front it just doesn't feel like it.

  • It's all about reach

  • Seconded. Linux Mint is really comfy and intuitive coming off of lifetime of Windows

  • I guess it depends on what you do, but as an awerage user - not really much to learn in terms of Linux. No special knowledge needed to use it like a normal person. I had to reformat some drives so Linux can use them and learning about Heroic games launcher, Lutris and Bottles to run non-steam games and windows software amd learn about compatibility layer built into Steam.

Otherwise it just works. Using Linux Mint. Didn't boot to Windows pretty much since I installed it - there was no need.

  • It was not even the emails. I tried to duckgo it and only found this controversy (which was new to me). What I saw was a specific qute, possibly on topic of privacy or something adjecent which just made me go "nope!"

  • "AI PC" is a branding for PCs with a NPU which is for AI workload processing.

  • I think this might be it. There were also some statements by the CEO I think which didn't exactly inspire confidencenin their company - but again, I don't remember the details unfortunately

  • I don't remember any specifics, but I think I heard there were some privacy concerns?

Then again, there seem to be privacy concerns about pretty much anything so might not be that bad...

  • Huh. I always wondered. When I'm poiring our dog water to the bowl when hiking, he always prefers to drink "from the bottle" - the bowl is there basically to catch the rest to return to the bottle (or for the other dog to drink). Guess now I maybe know why he does it.

  • Very recently he said "freedom came from the East". A famous quote of his goes that he didn't even notice the Velvet Revolution (fall of communism in Czechoslovakia). Not so long ago he went to put flowers on the grave of a head communist party member.

He sure remembers history - but sees it a little differently than you or I

  • I hope Hungary manages to break free of Orban.

Amomg other things because I'd find it hillarious that Fico would find himself completely isolated in EU.

  • I use a Steam Link, but that's no longer available as hardware, only an app. I don't have any experience with it but I read somewhere you can set up RaspberyPi to work in the same way.

Though I have to say - while it works wirelessly, for games it is better to have wired connection.

  • Yes No

    Jump
  • If anybody does it would be the perfect answer on multiple levels.

  • Too soon, man...

But seriously, it is tragically short, but worth it. And at least they managed to tie up things with the movie.
