  • That would explain why I hate loud noise and love choo choo trains.

  • I'm with him. My buddy calls me a cartoon character because I wear the same outfit everyday. I have multiple pairs of it though.

Black t-shirts (mostly), some other earth tones. All solid.

I'm all for comfort and making shit easy.

  • I only use it to adjust the volume mix. That's really about it.

  • The website mentions that there are fake offline converters that push malware as well.

  • My experience with Gnome scaling has been rather poor. I haven't tried it in KDE.

  • You are not forced to get a Real ID and can stick to a state only drivers license (if you want).

It's a requirement for those listed things.

  • Obama has secret service protection. So he does kind of have bodyguards.

  • Then you don't have a great imagination.

  • I would also like to mention the situation of printers. I can get my office printer working on chromeOS, Windows, Mac, but no Linux distro (other than chromeOS) wanted to play nice with it.

  • I try to choose a distro that looks aesthetically pleasing out of the box so I don't have to do any of that.

  • Everyone loves to shit on Zorin but I like it. Fedora is way too slow with updates for me. Mint is nice, but Zorin feels more cohesive with its UX.

  • I met my wife on OKC like... 10 years ago. I'm glad I exited that hellscape before it imploded.

  • Much appreciated. I'll give it another shot maybe tonight and throw some XFCE on here.

  • I'm using an old Dell XPS 13. It's 10ish years old. That could be part of the problem. I'm currently using chromeOS flex on it. It's fairly usable, but I don't have audio. I really only use it rarely and for things like d&d.

I know the Macbook battery life is because it's brand new, but it's still impressive to me that she rarely has to charge it.

  • Whenever I try Linux on my laptops, I always seem to have issues with sleep/resume from closing the lid.

While my wife's Macbooks battery lasts for like 18 hours.

  • How does Garuda handle HDR and multiple monitors with varying refresh rates?

That and stuttering has been some of my gripes.

  • That's super neat. I'll get around to checking it out at some point.

  • You know, I remember that. My PS1 never had an issue, but I know a few people who did.
