  • I second the motion.

  • I bet they go after a family member first.

  • I said I'd never go to a protest

    Why?

  • The red squares look like guillotine blades

  • Ask it what is the best way to eat the rich? And vegan options.

  • There's already a measles vaccine for like 60 years now.

Someone needs to develop one to just put in the water supply or something. Let's finally do contrails.

  • She is dabbing on Trump if anything.

“Only she can provide the complete account. Some may not like what they hear, but the truth matters. For example, both President Trump and President Clinton are innocent of any wrongdoing.”

    sounds entertaining tbh.

  • but "the zone" has grown to encompass the whole earth. "flood the earth" --- wait they're already doing that.

  • Yes me too.

Possibly other people too. Not sure how to tell.

  • The Boggs' were trots? (Column 9 around the middle)

  • No. it was the mods catching massive amounts of flack from the userbase for their tolerance and support of Zionism in general.

ZOG one seems to have settled it because finally the one user/mod who was sort of instigating the whole thing was finally banned. And others either changed or learned to pretend they changed for moderation duties.

But the site also lost some anti Zionists during that whole thing due to the hostility.

  • What about adding something to reflect the new era. Another piece that describes progress made and changing aspirations in relationship to the previous mentality.

  • Journalism can't make consequences, it is only at best part of the road to them.

  • Because the format is straightforward. Otherwise, my image has basically nothing to do with any ancient Republican commentaries on Democrats.

Saying ‘Einstein gave us the theory of relativity’ is not code for ‘Einstein gave us the entire field of physics.’

As per your line of, "Who introduced algebra to Europe? Abraham bar Hiyya, a Jew.", it would be more like ignoring Einstein and all other physicists and naming the person who ran his book publisher as the one who distributed physics to the world.

I trusted my readers to know better, but maybe I should not have.

It is your composition and I don't think I was reading it incorrectly.

It is only a slight exaggeration.

Here is the most important sentence from your linked post:

These local inhabitants, in turn, were descendants of the core population that had lived in the area for several centuries, some even since prehistorical times

Race "science" aside. don't you think that it is a little rude to post that the people of palestine, who have been resisting a genocide by zionist jews for decades, and in these past years an acute campaign of extermination so that they might be replaced by jews, are actually jews themselves? "there is no such thing as palestinians". I'm sure the whole "genetic" research in this zone serves ultimately to justify zionist ethnostate. the original historical document is quite relevant in its mixedupedness.

In the North American context there is a popular (wrong) idea that indigenous people are actually "recently" arrived themselves. I have heard people say "We're all immigrants here" without any hint of a caveat. Similar to the idea here, it is arguably an attempt to equalize everyone, to convey a commonality of experience. So there is a patina of niceness on it. The ideological implication though, the reason why it was so tenacious, is to dispute pre-columbian land claims by making out like the whole place is kind of up for grabs really. Nobody really has a legitimate claim of ownership. So the colonialist claims are actually then perfectly valid.

    too many people are unaware

Why "too many"? Why do you think they should know about this racial "science"? It is important to you, because it led to a revelation of mutual humanity, but who are you to tell others how they ought to understand?

Even if I stipulated to the credibility, there is really no reason why anyone outside of scientists and nerds need to care. It is irrelevant unless someone decides for themselves that it would be relevant.

I myself was unaware of their Jewish heritage until 2023, though that did not prevent me from opposing the occupation regardless.

Wow what incredible grace. Only support occupations where you are reasonable certain to be as different as a person can be from the victims? Of course.

Illuminating Palestinian identity further humanizes Palestinians, showing that there is more to their lives than suffering and that they are ordinary people like us.

What did you think they were before?

Human beings are 99.9999999% genetically identical. Whoever on this planet has the most different genetics from you is still a full human being "like you".

I'm glad you were able to make this connection, whatever it took to click it into place. But hopefully you will eventually outgrow the need to justify on this basis at all.

  • helps libs get off x

  • This is very strange. I am confused about why the original document is being mimicked, although admittedly I don't think I understand the cultural context there. As best as I understand, catechism is like a tool for indoctrinating people, primarily in the rules of christianity.

It is published in a Republican magazine so I suppose these are all intended as accusations? The ending clears nothing up for me:

Who, with the above facts, and many others, staring them in the face, are continually whining about “negro suffrage” and negro equality? The Democratic party. All these things were done by Democrats, and yet they deny being in favor of negro equality, and charge it upon the Republicans—just like the thief who cries “stop thief” the loudest.

But just to read it plainly with modern eyes. It opens in praise on slaver Thomas Jefferson's beneficence towards black people. Then it lists all the nice gifts of the democartic party upon Black people. (Some of which sound like they might be forms of sexual violence?) But ultimately, while the author's opinion on the matter is somewhat muddled through time, you can understand their intention to clarify the collective character and project of democrats.

I felt like creating something positive to counterbalance the negativity floating around lately. Nothing fancy; I don’t expect this to completely change somebody’s mind.

Like the original I am struggling to read through the layers of what is attempted to be communicated, and what is communicated. At first I thought this was some sort of backhanded anti semitism but now I think it probably isn't.

When I read this, it sounds like trying to give a few individual Jews credit for a lot of other people's work and stuff. Chemistry, algebra, WW2, abortions, mosques.

I am sure someone with more education in history could provide better insight and context regarding other assertions, but the overall vibe is very pointed here:

Who struggled for Indian women’s rights to practice law?

I don't have to know anything about the history to catch that suggesting any single person as an answer to such a question is absurd. The whole thing has a same tone. The product of many people's labor is credited to a single person. Or it could be described that all the other labor is ignored and erased in favor of a skewed perspective to over emphasize one person's role. 10s of millions of people died fighting fascism ww2, and many other millions participated in it. The person to whom 1 general admitted defeat is very rando to pluck out.

From whom do the Palestinians descend? Jews.

I am extremely skeptical that "Palestinians descend" from Jews. like all human groups, neither are at all coherent enough historically or today to make any such claim. I searched it up and very unsurprised to find numerous right wing zionist sources claiming this. Top of the list, good old The Times of Israel The Genetic Origins of the Palestinians. Some "race science" to show that palestinians do not even exist really.

  • as I understand it, in the US, the double jeopardy rule applies within a jurisdiction per the federal constitution. Individual states may also choose to create further protections on top of that. Which NY has done. NY state may not try someone after they have already had their federal trial. However as no such prohibition applies at the federal level, they are able to let NY have the first kick at the can, then come in for a second round.

What I'm not sure of, is if he is found guilty in the the first (NY state), will they still proceed with duplicate charges at the federal level? Or is it only a backup.

  • can't even blame AI

  • did people actually think that?

even when i was a kid knowing nothing of the CIA, I always had the impression it was some sort of sponsorship deal of a totally separate project.
