If such people are why the democrats lost, then maybe the democrats should've listened to them? Basic politics 101. Next time try listening to voters if you want their votes.
I agree that, on a surface level, the justification seems reasonable, but it falls flat in the face of reality. The existence of israel actually makes it less safe for Jews around the world because the horrific actions of israel are incorrectly conflated as being the will of all Jews. Additionally, it's a terrible idea to concentrate as many Jews as possible into a single small country. That only makes them more vulnerable. With how many enemies the israelis are making through their actions, the second they don't have the backing of the most powerful military in the world, they're open to attack. They're relying on always being defended no matter what they do and they use it as a license to carry out the most horrific acts, including genocide. It's not sustainable and it should not be excused or tolerated.
"nazi germany" does not exist anymore and is a different country from "Germany" (notice the lack of nazi in the name). israel was founded by terrorists and has always been ruled by extremists who wanted to create lebensraum for their genocidal ethnostate utopia. Palestine and israel are not divided by religion. Jews, Christians, and Muslims lived together in Palestine long before the bloody concept of israel was conceived.
Apparently they can, they just cater to richer people now. Eventually they'll make even the most basic essentials into luxury goods. Then they'll figure out that they can make profits go up even higher if they don't waste money actually making things and instead sell virtual goods that are infinitely replicable. Then everyone starves to death.
That's like saying you can be pro-nazi-germany and anti-nazi. There is no nuance in sending billions of dollars in weapons to a country actively committing genocide. That can only be taken to mean support for genocide.
I've used it to explore some avenues without having to write a complete implementation. If the approach shows promise, then I go through the code and mostly rewrite it because the code it generates is terrible. I also use it if I don't care about the project I'm on. They want to "do test-driven development" while having poorly-defined requirements that constantly change on a whim while also setting unreasonable unit test coverage thresholds? Cool, I'll let the AI shit out a bunch of unit tests and waffle stomp it to satisfy your poorly thought out project requirements.
That's the P in ChatGPT: Pre-trained. It has "learned" based on the set of data it has been trained on, but prompts will not have it learn anything. Your past prompts are kept to use as "memory" and to influence output for your future prompts, but it does not actually learn from them.
It wasn't just a mere change in government, it was a complete rebuild of Germany with safeguards put into place to prevent the regrowth of fascism. That is what it meant for nazi germany to have been eliminated, and something similar should happen with israel. The genocide, apartheid, and ethnocentrism has broad support within israel, far beyond just one side of the government, the entire country was founded on these principles. If israel continues to exist, it should exist in name only, because the country as it currently exists is a poison and would be like allowing nazi germany to continue existing.
I didn't expect republicans to interrupt their own masturbatory moment of silence. Anyway, I would've been tempted to rip the loudest, nastiest fart I could muster, even at the risk of shitting my pants.
Not just tariffs, but also terrorizing and deporting the workers that the industry exploits. Even for items not actually impacted there's also the corporate greed seeing a convenient excuse for higher profits. Just an absolute disaster all around.
