Solid thinking. But how big a garden does a family need? And will you always be allowed enough water for it?
My lawn is pretty much gone after the drought we've had for a couple years now. Not sure I'm going to re-plant grass if this is the new normal. And not sure how to know what the new normal is.
I was very aware of this "sharing" of footage when I bought my camera system and intentionally did not buy ring and other brands because I want to own that video. I went so far as to not connect my system to the internet which gives me less options (i.e. see it on my phone anytime) but sometimes privacy comes with a price.
IMHO increasing food insecurity across the globe will be one of the major issues driven by climate change. If crops fail repeatedly it is not gonna go well for society.

And the days of believing everything you see are over but most don't know it yet.
I think I used self checkout once in my life. I very quickly realized that they're pushing their work onto me and never went to self checkout again.
I also think those jobs matter. Not great jobs, sure. But they are jobs. I'm sure tech will eliminate cashier jobs someday but I don't see self checkout doing so.
English orthography is awful. Hard "c" AND soft "c"? Are you crazy? How about that "k" that is already the hard c sound? It should be "kat" and "kar". And it only goes downhill from there (or their?!?).
We should clean it up someday. But we'll probably end up with LOL-WTF-speak.
Not sure how common it is now but some cars had a "hill holder" feature that would hold the brake for you when starting on a hill. Makes that whole process much, much easier.
So might it be actionable that Israel is violating this? Not that I actually expect anything will really happen if this is pursued.
