  • Well all they do is take in bulk shipments of, categorize, store, individually package, ship, and deliver products. I just really don't see how you could call that "distributing" goods. /s

  • Wet works. Always in demand.

  • Leverage.

    ...

    Drugs -> Money

    Sex -> Control the Powerful

    Plumbers protect the CIA.

  • i7 (mobile processor) with the built in Intel gpu. 16G ram. 120G ssd. It's an optiplex. They're pretty cheap on Amazon / ebay as refurbs. I bought it for the processor. Bought and upgraded the ram and ssd separately. I just have kodi on it (on Linux Mint). Everything is stored on my synology, which has an m.2 ssd cache. My TV is only 2k, so I haven't tried pushing any higher res stuff. I was surprised a few years ago when I started playing h.265 videos. No issues playing it at all. I didn't upgrade the ssd at first, but noticed the box got pretty hot by the end of a movie. That upgrade dropped the temp in the box a good bit. I don't think I'm pushing it much. It just gets warm a little and utilization remains under 50%. The box is really snappy too.

  • 10... And that may be too long.

  • My MCPC is a micro PC that's at least 10 years old. It plays h.265 at 2k just fine. I'm excited to see things move back to media computers.

  • Huh... Ok. That's not what I meant.

  • I didn't say anything about porn. But if you think she doesn't understand and leverage sex appeal... I just don't know what to tell you.

  • No matter the law, exactly zero powers will stop using it. Any law will only hamper the regular citizen in their endeavors.

  • She's literally said that in interviews. She's super smart. She knows her persona is a product. That's not a jab. Every famous person that has a personal brand does this. Her brand just happens to be called the same as her name.

  • "AI" has been diluted to mean nothing but marketing wank. 99.999% of "AI" is single variable linear regression estimation. Almost all of the rest is multi variable linear regression.

  • Employees that work on improving search results..... Have been fired / laid off..... After report comes out about how bad search results are.

  • Read up on her. She 100% portrays a product and sells that product. She knows what she's doing.

  • I think that's the point. It hits a similar group as those old mini trucks (eg S10) from the 90s that get tricked out.

  • I would for a price. I've done a few hard years. The issue is that he's likely not making it voluntary and not compensating people for the sacrifice.

  • Why did you black out your private IP addresses?

  • Well he did it as a human person. They're doing it as a corporation person. You can punish a human person with prison. You can only punish a corporation person with fines.

    I'm not even being facetious. That's how US law works.

  • So because your half ass attempt to find something on Google didn't work, it must not exist? Come on man!

    Top result in YT for Neutrino Engine https://youtu.be/6YEO8Qit1Bw

    Top result in a search engine not linking to scifi stuff: https://www1.grc.nasa.gov/space/sep/gridded-ion-thrusters-next-c/

    There's plenty more info too. Those are just top results from the first page.

    Tesla had a fire. A lot of his papers were lost and he was notorious for not having much documentation. The technology matches what some people had claimed to be Tesla's free energy machine. Maybe this wasn't it. No one knows. Just because he didn't experiment with fusion or fission that doesn't mean he didn't experiment with neutrinos. There's billions passing through your body right now. Given they interact with gravity and electromagnetism, it is not that hard to believe Tesla may have figured out how to harness them in some super rudimentary way.

  • My wife worked for FedEx. I worked for UPS. Several of our friends have worked for one or the other. Several we know do or have worked for USPS. The only carrier we're missing is DHL. We can all confirm there's plenty of shenanigans, random pilferage, and organized theft to go around for everyone. They all hire anyone with a pulse as temp workers. It always surprises me when people think one is really better than another. Maybe that's true for your home's route, but not on the whole.
