  • True, but it’s really sad that we’re looking at Tucker Carlson - of all people - in 2026 and being like “no seriously, hear him out, he’s got a point”

  • While I generally agree with questioning the status of isnotreal and its “citizens” I don’t think Tucker is the mouthpiece for “progressive” talking points.

  • I never understood why so many “privacy focused” lists mark them as the top browser choice. Their company track record seems spotty at best.

  • I think his heart wants to serve New Yorkers because he IS a true New Yorker but he is still a politician. Part of being a politician is playing the game right. There’s a reason him and Trump got along. You can’t hate on him for playing the game by their rules.

I’m apprehensive about throwing my full unwavering support behind him or anyone for that matter, but he is one of the best politicians we currently have in the US. It’s an absurdly low bar and all it takes is action and words of unity to look like a super-hero.

  • Money isn’t real so just erase the debt.

  • That headline is every buzz word to tickle a Lemmy user’s taint. I say that with all the sincerity in the world because I too want one.

  • I meaaaaaan…. He’s technically not wrong. Just not in the way he meant. Democrats have done really nothing to stop him, so they are definitely partially to blame.

That said, yeah no they didn’t order “any means necessary” to fulfill his mission to ethnically cleanse the US.

  • It’s obviously not that critical cause they make you pay to read it.

  • This is why I left this comment. Good to know, gotta try it.

  • I use older versions of Photoshop. Sorry, GIMP ain't it.

  • I don’t understand what he was trying to accomplish. Like simply: why? Is it cause Santa is a commie or something for being generous?

  • Looks cool. Never heard of it.

  • For the record, I support piracy and don’t mind that people listen to my music for free. I don’t like other companies making money off it though. They didn’t make it, they don’t get to use it to make money.

Its not so much the money I’m not making, it’s the theft of hard work artists put in and corporations profit off of that makes me upset.

In 2019 the only way to reach people was Spotify. It’s still kinda the biggest game in town. It’s slowly changing but the business and ideas of digital ownership of rights were different 7 years ago.

  • I’m an artist with music on Spotify. I honestly don’t know how I feel about this.

I know Metallica got a lot of shit about Napster back in the day, but I can’t help but feel like they were right. They were (by my recollection) trying to ensure artists still have a claim to their body of work. I know the industry has come so far since then, but it feels like the moment everything started to slowly become “content” and not art.

I just want real people to actually enjoy my music. I don’t expect to make a living or even real money off my music, but I also don’t like someone else making money off my art and using it to train AI models.

I made something meaningful, no one else gets to decide that they wanna commodify it or use it to make slop.

  • Surprised I haven’t seen Hell Pie here yet. Pretty solid physics and fun mechanics. The humor is a bit crude and sometimes kinda edge-lord l, but the game play is solid.

Ruffy and the Riverside. Really interesting concept with editing terrain and your environment.

Gex Trilogy is pretty good if you’re into old-school platformers. It aged better than I thought.

Megabonk is basically 3D vampire survivors, and that rules.

  • Switch 2 has a much healthier margin than Switch. Nintendo is actually making money on the hardware this time. They don’t have the lineup or the services to justify the hardware being a loss leader and won’t until probably 2027.

Here’s to hoping the Steam Machine is $799 or less.

  • Good, maybe now prices for them will finally come back down to reality. $500 for a switch is bonkers and $800 for an Xbox of any variety is outright criminal.

  • You’re not wrong. That being said, I don’t hate Safari mobile, it’s pretty solid and has great compatibility. There’s something to be said for using the hardware most of the web if generally designed for.

  • Would love to see an iOS version. I do enjoy the FireFox functionality of seeing tabs on other devices easily.
