  • Okay. I've talked to my wife and planned for my disappearance. I now walk with my social security, drivers license, and American passport. I plan to remain on private property and demand a warrant with my name on it and signed by a judge (not an administrative warrant.) I'm seeking options for legal council in the case I'm unlawfully detained. I'm spreading these plans with all my coworkers. I've installed cameras in my house and outside, as well as a dash cam and a rear dash cam. These stories are exponentially increasing for us citizens. It was 1 the other day, 2 the next, today I've heard of 7 as of last night. They aren't respecting forms of ID presented at arrest. They intentionally misidentify you and throw you in a van. They delay your hearings. They're waiting at hospitals and entering schools. My parents are selling their home and leaving the country. The KKK didn't disappear, they just signed up for ICE. Our family intends to purchase a safe and a fire arm when we can afford it. I plan to be at my next protest and boycotting everything.

    It's still extremely problematic that this being painted as incels vs pizza. She has had bad takes on free health care, male survivors, and equating all criticism to misogynistic haters. She doubles down and never argues in good faith.

    I really like BHJ. It's fun and chill. She just didn't like that people were being critical of her takes. The mods were actively removing hateful content and responses. They expressed willingness to help remove any offending content.

    Now, you can't even mention her name on the sub without threat of ban. It's ridiculous that she'd try DMCA against something so clearly fair use. Weaponizing it like that isn't even legal. The mods couldn't be bothered to fight it though.

    I politically agree with her mostly and find some of her comics sincerely funny, but she's still being a dick.

  • Yeah, no. A male SA survivor expressed sincere perspective, claiming the original comic insensitive. It was the top comment before it was removed with many other responses. Just read the posts linked in the comment below the one I shared. It's not incel garbage (mostly), she's an intolerable Karen. She's got the mods censoring that sub, it's one of the reasons I left reddit. (I've been banned multiple times for expressing these facts.) They ban people for being critical. I think hating her for being unfunny or having an only fans is dumb. On the other hand, hating on her for being an unapologetic asshole is fine. She's earned it.

  • I've tried my hardest to use Linux but gave up. I want to like it, but the hurdle is too high to get everyone on board. At the end of the day, the computer is a tool. Maybe a hand made walking stick is better than a manufactured one - someone who is not versed in the ergonomics and construction of walking sticks is going to opt for the stick that enables them to walk today. I use computers enough to see learning Linux as an investment, it's just not something I have time for today.

  • Crazy how ethics work. Like a pig might be more physically and mentally capable than an individual in a vegetative state, but we place more value on the person. I'm no vegan, but I can see the contradiction here. When we generalize, it's done so for a purpose, but these assumptions can only be applied to a certain extent before they've exhausted their utility. Whether it's a biological system or an electrical circuit, there is no godly commandment that inherently defines or places value on human life.
