  • That's a common situation with open source software. It doesn't belong to anyone basically. And as long as it doesn't inherently bring something malicious as a technology (and Lemmy doesn't), I don't care. By the way, there's another major contributor to Lemmy, who is a Catholic... I also did (doing) minor contributions. I'm pro-Ukraine and non-binary. And there are hundreds of contributors in the repo who are probably of very different political views

  • Yeah, i see and usually restrain myself from confrontations in public spaces, but that was a discord server of a streamer i watch for more than 5 years. Thankfully, they reached me out to me later, apologized for that mod's behaviour, and expressed support to me and my position from the whole mods team. So, at least i don't feel so disappointed anymore

  • It's good, thanks. I moved to Finland, very nice country. My wife, pets and some of my friends moved with me, and I found new friends in the company I work

  • Great explanation, but I guess the question was about the first part and your answer is about Silksong (even though many things take place in the first game too)

  • Platformers can be great (e. g. Celeste), but I don't think it's how you describe Hollow Knight genre. It's a metroidvania in the first place. But anyway, it's not a genre that brings the greatness, but amazing attention to detail; extremely satisfying gameplay; peak artstyle, music, writing and sense of humour; and amazing plot-twists. As you progress through the game, it reveals you the aspects you didn't even think about, and it just blows your mind. By the end of your playthrough you feel like you're playing absolutely different game than you started. I don't want to go much into details because of spoilers. That's what would be best to experience yourself if you decide to give the game a shot.

  • Dogs or pigs?

  • absolute cinema

    1. i don't pay any money using instagram and whatsapp
    2. i'm following certain persons which are not on fediverse. i keep contact in whatsapp with my elder relatives who doesn't use anything else
    3. you can build the same chain with literally any American service provider and manufacturer. if you're an American citizen then there's a direct link from you to govt

  • my condolences

  • which one? first chromatic or pink ball?

  • my first walkthrough of E33 took 183 hours, there's pretty huge world to explore and some optional bosses are quite challenging

  • first, no, it's fair to say regardless of how often i create content. posts like this is cancer, which adds nothing to the platform. second, even on this account my last post was 1 month ago.

  • i'm so tired of these posts. okay, fediverse, you won! you are more decentralized than bluesky. maybe it's time to create real useful and interesting content instead of reveling in your elitism?

  • I prefer Fia ending. She's always nice to me

  • i use Arch + Gnome on Wayland. before it was Ubuntu + Gnome. all fine, quite modern games like Elden Ring, Expedition 33, and Street Fighter 6

  • This background color makes me uncomfortable

  • i cannot see what you were actually banned for, but the fact you've been banned everywhere from reddit is kinda red flag tbh. i've seen people posting everything from the constructive criticism to 'fuck spez' for months and no one banned them. you might've been banned for different reasons except censorship. might it be that you just didn't "read the room" or didn't keep discussions constructive?
