  • I left Reddit in 2023 when they decided to mess with third party apps. I went to kbin initially and then moved over to here.

  • Ok, so are they fucking off now?

  • Yea, I didn’t agree hard enough. Lots of stupid illiterate people on here.

    Keep fucking downvoting me.

The first thing is a question. Are people not allowed to ask questions? You’re calling someone who’s asking a question ignorant… uh, doesn’t ignorance get fixed by knowledge? Maybe try answering the GD question instead of just claiming it’s ignorant and pretending like you know the answer.

Why was her car perpendicular to the flow of traffic and between two other cars?

#2. Dumbass probably did feel like his life was in danger. Dumbass stood in front of a fucking SUV. He did it to himself. Contributory Negligence is the name for it.

There’s 0 victim blaming in anything I wrote.

Also, fuck you personally. If you’re going to quote someone, quote their whole sentence. I said that he probably did feel like his life was in danger because he put himself into a situation.

  • Agreed, but no one really read what I wrote. They just downvoted me because they assumed I was supporting him.

  • I didn’t give him any credit. I told people (a lot of people that don’t live in the US) what those stickers are for clarification. It’s not a bunch of leftist shit.

  • You’re right… it happens often on Lemmy. Mindhive is way worse here than Reddit.

  • I am very clearly opposed to that as well doofus, you just want to start shit because I don't agree hard enough for your liking apparently. It's either that, or you aren't fully literate.

  • You're the part of the left that got Trump elected, so I could not give a shit less about your nonsense. If I needed any shit from you, I'd scrape it off your teeth.

  • I bet you didn't even read my full comment, or any of my other comments.

  • It 100% changes my opinion on whatever transpired, but I still know that he's a murderer, because of Tennessee v. Gardner and understanding what contributory negligence is.

  • This is Lemmy, so I'll be downvoted, but this video does change my opinion on things a bit (not enough to change my mind about he should not have shot her).

The narrative that she was going home after dropping her kid off at school seems like at best, a partial truth at this point. Maybe they stopped to film ICE because they happened to come across ICE activity while on the way home? I'm speculating, I don't know. I still cannot understand exactly why they were stopped there to begin with, unless simply to film ICE... but she had a right to do that.

That being said, and what the video still does not explain is what the other vehicle is that's opposite from the one the ICE people pulled up in. The murderer didn't get out of that silver/gold SUV (left of her Maroon Honda), so was the murderer's vehicle the one that was on the other side of her SUV? Did she put her vehicle in between two ICE agent vehicles while they were in the middle of doing one of their kidnappings? That's a problematic decision if so.

I also think it's reasonable to believe that he felt his life was in danger; but that he put himself into that situation because he's a fucking dumbass.

  • Those aren't political stickers, they're mostly stickers for parks, and there was one for the Kansas City soccer team.

  • Back when I was in that sort of role, I did it to call them out. I'd highlight it on their screen and ask if it was ok to restart the computer now.

  • Don't skimp on the optic

  • We're basically neighbors.

  • I'm thinking more Wyoming area

  • You could cheat and do 2x a days
