  • Next you'll be trying to tell me the Saudis might not have UK ideals at heart!

  • Hopefully this should be blocked to prevent a hostile foreign state from owning and controlling core infrastructure, on the grounds of national security. 🤞

    What's that? A flying pig?

  • Yes, I've always found jobs via linked in.

Though, I have been most successful through having recruiters reaching out to me directly rather than applying for jobs. Applying directly to companies is a recipe for being ignored.

  • Yes, we know.

    And you are wrong.

  • This is completely incorrect.

    The rule is that

You cannot generate Steam codes and sell them on alternative storefronts for less than you would sell them for on Steam for a similar length of time.

There is absolutely no rule saying that you cannot sell your game on alternative store fronts for less. There isn't even a rule saying that you can't sell Steam keys on alternative store fronts for less than you are currently selling them of Steam. Just not always selling Steam keys on alternative store fronts without at least sometimes selling them for that price on Steam.

  • Would it?

Genuinely curious, the world has massively changed in the past 6 months. Perspectives could have changed, is movement with the EU as bad as isolation from even the US?

  • One of the issues with these percentage stats is that we were not as big of purchasers of Tesla as the rest of Europe so it's going to be harder for us to have as large of drops.

If you look, France has dropped that much just to catch up with us.

  • While I completely agree with this, I'm sure RedHat is perfectly capable of ruining things without IBM forcing them to, it was more than I was trying to remember the order of events and I thought I remembered that RedHat managed to get that change in before blamed could be fobbed off on IBM.

  • Didn't that happen before IBM merged with RedHat?

[Edit] My mistake, it was about a year after the IBM merger.

  • Ukraine is a poor example as Ukraine tried to join NATO against the promises NATO made with Russia.

Fuck off. No they didn't, you piece of fascist shit.

Russia invaded, and then they said "We didn't try to join NATO because we promised not to, and Russia would leave us alone. Russia didn't keep up their end of the bargain."

    Don't rewrite history.

  • There was a Central American country that demonstrated damages by the US, and was authorised by the International Courts to ignore US IP up to the value of damages claimed?

I think it was Belize and illegal blocks on gambling websites (because folks were still able to use US based gambling websites).

My point is that if the US ignores internationally recognised rules, such as regional naming, and causes demonstrated damage then it doesn't have to be repaid in like.

  • Ubuntu is British though.

I mean sure, our government have been pretty dick to Europeans, but you aren't impacting the US by avoiding it.

  • He was calling the cave diver a paedo, which was a weird insult at the time. But it much have just been the projecting.

  • Completely agree, I was trying to avoid the "well actually" response.

I've had a number of items get held by FedEx (or whoever) because of import duties over the years and I've had to pay the delivery company to get it released.

This is a well worn path, and kudos to this one to warn you that new tarrifs are in place, the customer would be subject to them, and giving them an option to decline it.

  • Import duties are not always part of the agreement.

They didn't change the rules, there is now a charge by the government on it getting delivered, not by the company.
