More effective to just start penpal relationships with Chinese folks you find on the internet. Just write some shit about the T-square and Pooh and if they keep responding you know it's secure.
It always makes me laugh when people say "sign up is hard"...it's 100% just an excuse, and a majority of the time the effort involved before coming to this conclusion is 0.
Facebook is tightly woven into daily life in a lot of places. And I don't just mean outside of the united States. Small businesses use it as a home page, or they post menus or events to Instagram. As pathetic as it is they can't figure out wordpress, it's still a semi-legitimate use.
