On the whole I think English speakers are relatively polite about misunderstood words in person, even relatively racist asshats. But when you can't read the accent, you default to your own culture and in that culture it's pronounced to rhyme with tamales.
Some people have this bizarre idea (I blame video games of course since this is a phenomena that is newer than 1980) that violence is actually fun and not horrifying in a way that will haunt you for the rest of your life. These people believe in the concept of honor and good old boys sharing a cig on Christmas day in an impromptu relief from the shelling and gassing.
Putin isn't one of these people, he's a psycho and doesn't care at all.
That having been said it's not clear to me at least which is worse.
So then all a bad actor would need to do is pick a source that has the headline that manipulates people the way they want to? Ie pick the fox story over MSNBC. Or pick some hate group like fox over hrc.org?
You're not special for washing dishes in a less efficient way that's worse for the environment. If you've just never had access to one, ignore me, but Ive definitely known a surprising number of people who have dishwashers in their apartments but refuse to use them. If that's you, you're probably doing life wrong.
Anyway there's nothing that unique about the dishwasher itself, washing cast iron in hot soap and water and then leaving it to air dry will strip the protection of the polymerized oil and then trigger the pan to rust. Nothing to do with dishwashers as a technology except if you wash a pan by hand you're likely scrubbing it less effectively and not willing to spend 1-2 hours spraying it with hot water. If you stick the pan into the washer for 15 mins, immediately rinse, dry, and re season, it's not particularly different from washing by hand.

But uh... the big flaw in your story here is that "emergency department" is immediately understandable, ED isn't. It's also eating disorder. Recently in the news it's been education department since DoE is taken and acronyms are ineffective. It's also engineering design, encyclopedia dramatica, emotional disorder and I'm sure many more that I don't know.
