I like the comic, though I can't say I relate. Maybe it's just because I mostly play single player stuff, but usually if a game interests me, I will laser focus on it and grind that thing into a fine paste. I'll complete every last thing, read wikis, and then the moment I've wrung the last bit of game out, I wait for the next game that catches my interest.
Glad I'm not the only one that gets tempted to buy random old hardware just to see what's on it. Often times data ends up being entirely uninteresting or wiped, but a ZipDisk drive was one of the few times I got to see some stuff laying around. It was mostly just some small bitmaps of drawn ladies, but also a number of journal entries from an older gentleman who originally had the drive too.
That, and also upbringing, like not necessarily even being aware of things being wrong or abusive. It's part of why it's important to talk about stuff like this, since it's easy to internalize and normalize things—especially as a first experience.
Or the opposite, edgy extreme trauma without end! Look, my very deep character is named Bloodvein, and everyone they knew and loved was brutally murdered as a child! They were abducted by government agents and forced to become the ultimate killing machine, by making them relive those memories—as the murderer. After years of brutality enacted massacre inside the experimental silo, Bloodvein became the coldest and coolest secret operative ever. One time, their arm was chopped off in a fight, and Bloodvein beat the assailant to death with it. Now they have a cyborg arm, badass.
If you're having trouble with proprietary hardware networking and bluetooth, I wonder if the some USB hardware from ThinkPenguin would help you with that. Namely the wireless dongle and the bluetooth one, both of which don't rely on proprietary blobs and work with fully free systems out of the box. Not exactly the cheapest thing to outfit on inherited, old systems at ~$50 each, however.
Welcome to Furry_IRL! Please note that as an IRL community; we request the post title be a word, followed by "_irl." The artist credit after is fine and encouraged, so thanks for that, and including detailed sources in the post body!
You posted two things that do this. Please edit the post titles, I appreciate it!
First off, furry_irl is a place for posting memes and other relatable images, not a general community to ask questions. I'm removing this, but I recommend reposting it in furry.
I don't really know of more furry peertube instances, I mostly know of furry mastodon instances, though those are already well federated with our own instance of pawb.fun. Following the #furry and #furryart tags will help a lot if you aren't already.
