  • Oh, wow. Not being dismissive of shit women go through is...the problem?

Yeah, umm, what the fuck ever.

  • That's a completely non-productive and unhelpful perspective. But you already fucking know that don't you?

  • Umm, clearly it's not actually insignificant. By definition, if it was, women would not choose the bear. Besides, you got the point of the comic, and your criticism just counts across as pretentious and out of touch.

    ¯(ツ)

  • Yeah, fuck right off with that bullshit. You're rights only extend far enough to not interfere with anybody else's rights. This jackass absolutely deserves to face consequences.

  • Keep in mind deleting a post federates much more slowly than creating one...at least that's my impression.

  • No

  • Project 2025 is an absolutely vile, evil plan. But don't make shit up; you're not doing anything constructive to fight them by telling outright lies.

  • Sure, why not? I can use a new brother.

    ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)

  • Oof.

And I read it wrong like multiple times.

    Thank you

  • I generally overshoot when it comes to the hardware specs, if I can. That way you're prepared in advance if you end up having the option to upgrade your Internet connection.

Otherwise, you may find yourself locked in to the slower plan due to the cost of upgrading your hardware.

But, sometimes you have to choose realistic over optimal, of course. So in other words, I do not think I know what's best for you! Just offering a perspective that has worked for me, in case it helps you in some way as you evaluate the choice that's best for you.

  • I use Firefox with the udm14 extension for Google - gives me only the web results. No AI, no shopping, images, etc, only website results.

  • I used to hear my dad repeat Faux talking points about how "gerrymandering isn't even real" or some BS. It's been so tempting to throw it back in his face - but I know that won't be worth my time, so why bother.

  • You don't use Google. Google uses you.

(Just to clarify, I am saying this in agreement with your comment)

  • I just use Firefox, install the udm14 plug-in, and never think about it again...

  • Let's not forget lobbyingbribery. And since said political influence is ostensibly being bought for the sake of charity, nobody would even blink.

Just my theory, mind you. But every one of these charitable foundations is primarily done for tax avoidance. No question. Well that is every one of these foundations except for the one set up by Mr President Tiny Dick. He just can't resist the temptation of embezzlement. I mean seriously, he bankrupted THREE casinos, and had a judge not just dissolve his foundation, but also bar him from running one of these so-called charitable foundations ever again.

I don't even want to know how you can fuck up that egregiously. One of those things where you have to wonder if successfully finding understanding of how it happened is going to hopelessly corrupt your own soul for all of eternity.

  • I get what you're saying, but life itself is a social experiment, really...

  • Just curious, but in exactly what way is not already on complete control?

  • No. Sorry, but the people, events, and even societal structures relevant to the Bible are all long dead. Therefore, "relevant" is factually incorrect.

Now, I do fully agree that there are plenty of stories in that book that highlight good morals, and healthy ways to think about yourself, the world around you, and you fit in. Unfortunately, there's also plenty of regressive authoritarian propaganda that does not have any beneficial message to it, not to mention bizarre and disturbing filler.

That said, to decide the entire collection inherently somehow has more importance than other books is not helpful, untrue, and puts you on a frame of mind where it becomes way harder to actually learn from the morals of the story so to speak.

For better or worse, it is, after all, just a book.
