  • There are also victims of Jews.

When OP criticizes "Mein Kampf" for it's ridiculously demonizing claims against this group of people by saying that these "Victims of Jews" mentioned in the book were warmongering imperialists, then it doesn't mean that OP is concealing true victims made by Jews.

  • One of the beauties of socialism is that they do construction well. The CPC would be able to do it.

  • That the scientific method is fine as it is.

On top of that, quantum mechanics, Einstein's theories of relativity, Maxwell's equations, Newton's law of gravity, although Einstein "disproved" this, they both make the same mistake, and more.

And before people false dichitomize me into the religious camp, the best and easiest example I will always give of what's wrong with these theories is to take the holy trinity, argue what fallacy is taking place when one introduces a three-but-really-one monotheist deity as truth and then expand on that fallacy to take down the photon's two-but-really-one wave-particle duality.

  • I think he stated four of them. And those are probably the main four. But I'll state them in my own words as I find the statements slightly inaccurate:

    1. Socialism goes against human nature.
    2. Socialism equals big government.
    3. Socialism killed over a 100 million people
    4. Liberal democracy isn't perfect, but it's the best system there is.
  • I see a lot of "camera's in their bedroom" arguments. That's a bit unfair, because the Indian government doesn't have camera's installed in your bedroom.

May I instead suggest to Indians to buy Huawei/ZTE phones, routers or camera's in your own bedroom that point outside to public places?I mean the public has nothing to hide right?Right?

  • I don't understand how this is exactly military propaganda either, but I do see an argument for dichitomy in it.

Imagine living in the middle ages and you crave to read a book that goes against feudalism, especially the theocratic kind, because you know that the system is corrupt but you can't quite put your finger on it how or offer an alternative, so you're searching an answer and then you finally find a book that criticizes Christianity, the dominant religion of your area. Hurray! And what does the book contain? Why a praise for a satanic society of course, because 'that's what anti-feudalism is all about when you are against a system where the most military crafty person is being regarded as the one sent by god to rule over you.'

In this story, the Na'vi are portrayed as naïve. It's in the name.Their society isn't better in terms of economics without resorting to imperialism, but that they're "more in contact with nature", by having a more primitive society.

But because they're more primitive, they need a big strong human man to protect them and the hottest hottie will fall head over heels for him, bonus points if she previously was the strongest warrior's girlfriend and he'll have to endure from sidelines how he gets cuckolded by our insert-All-Anglo-American hero (not sure if that happens in Avatar, I've only seen #2)

  • When the capatalist superpower is nosediving in power and the communist superpower rocketing upwards, then what pessimism do you have? That it's not going to turn out like star trek, the neo-utopian socialist show where it was capitalist US that evolved into communism and took the world and the whole galaxy into an end of history, because the US can do everything better, even communism?

  • Yeah that quote is from the authority figure Doctor Zimbardo. I don't think he did anything different than what the Middle Grove experimenters did, except that during that experiment, the subjects ultimately turned against their authority figures.

  • Yeah, I know that feeling. Are you diagnosed as autistic by any chance? If not and you haven't done a diagnosis, I suggest you do so.One of the things I never noticed was that other people have enough energy left after 8 hours of work to have hobbies. That gave me insight on my own life.

In any case, ask yourself. What is it that you would like your friends to know about you and what do they enjoy talking about?

Think of your dreams, achievements, things that bother you, things that interest you, things you notice.

What are theirs? How do they view yours? What's their social circle like? What makes them enjoy the things they do?

And then ask questions while also telling about a bit about yourself so that it feels like a conversation instead of an interview.

And be careful with politics and religion.People can get very judgemental and confident on that subject, including oneself.

And try to find common ground, because it's nice to have shared thoughts.Like I could ask for example how you how got to communism and what it means to you.

  • Anything stored at a third party will be abused by said third party, but for some reason people think it's okay to drop their entire life's work on a platform that could their strongest competitor in their field, but get upset if I throw their life's work on lemmy.

  • Does it involve a very large razor blade?I'm trying to keep my head on this.

  • I'm more surprised about how the majority of EU true believers aren't turning their guns against the US, but instead go full into imperial lackey for the US and see nothing wrong with that, but see everything wrong with standing up against it.

China is currently at a position of strength equal to the US towards the Soviet Union during the 1980s and the only regions in the world right now that are slowly considering China their friend is China, now including Hong Kong and Taiwan.

The US is currently threatening the whole world to ram their fists through everyone's faces and people are still praising it.

  • "The only way to stop a school shooter is with another school shooter." - Anglo-American proverb

  • I thought that this person just doesn't know how to socialize, not knowing how to break the ice.

  • How can you not have anything to talk about?

Don't you have a list of questions you want to ask or statements you wish to share with your friends?

  • (Implied: the US should let Russia invade and annex them)

This type of double standard attitude..You didn't say this of NATO invading Yugoslavia did you?Or for that matter Iraq, Afghanistan or Lybia. Why not?

And the difference here is is that Russia isn't even demanding a full-on regime change for a minority of people unlike the US/NATO.Russia just wanted the parts where a majority of people wants an out, to be able to step out, negotiations where Ukraine steps down on it's aggression against Russian minorities and promises not to use their country for nuclear missiles aimed at Russia in areas where Russian minorities live. They're not accusing Ukraine of having weapons of mass destruction without proof.

“Russia and the US have some details in common if you blur your eyes so they are morally and politically identical”

Yes, the US with it's current concentration camps, legalized slavery in prisons, demanding peace prizes for conducting war against Venezuela among many many countries it invaded, tech oligarchs getting front seats and openly bragging about their political influence, openly bragging about supporting a genocide and calling anyone who protest that genocide peacefully terrorists, with a history of starting out with slave owners on stolen land, "demanding to be free", which meant not having to pay taxes for tea, then continue with hundreds of genocides and having a civil war over the discussion whether or not slavery was bad, is indeed nowhere near similar to a country that decided to dethrone their monarchs, install socialism, was a thriving success, but with fossil fuels still determining winners and losers in the 19th and 20th century it got corrupt, is now capitalist but slowly moving back leftwards with eyes more and more looking to the socialist China as not only has the fossil fuel world going through massive changes that benefited China, Russia and the Middle East more than the US, but the energy production as a whole is going through a revolution not seen since the industrial revolution that's pulling every country on the planet on a much more balanced scale.

  • Hey, that's not nice to falsely name someone's country!Be a gentleman, apologize and use the correct name for it:KKKlanada.

  • Us Europeans are being lorded over by the US and yet we don't have ban to electricity to follow the Amish way of life, just because that's the most backward part of the US.

We're now living in a time where the US is telling us to tank our economy time after time 'just to spite the enemy', while China's economy is growing 5+% per year. That's not sustainable. At some point the people of Europe will be looking up at China and Russia for having an industry and commerce instead of letting everything be bought out by the US.

Moreover, our human rights are extremely selective and are based on the protection of the two ruling classes of capitalism, the lawyer class and the merchant (aka as donor) class, having replaced the clergy and nobility that came before. Human rights is just one way for the laywer class to justify their actions, which primarily serves the merchant class On top of that, none of those in power are even in Europe anymore. The donors class is all (Anglo-)American and we're obligated to follow "international law" or "agreements with NATO" no matter what you supposedly voted for.The moment competition shows up from China, in the US, not even the EU, then those rights the rest of us are supposed to have are immediately thrown out of the window, or for us Europeans, six months later.

    Freedom of trade?

2000: "That's what has made the US the most powerful nation in the world!"2025: "National security threat!" "IP theft!""No ZTE routers, Huawei phones, or inexpensive BYD cars, for you. Sorry."

    Freedom of the press?

2000: "Freedom of speech what the US has and other countries don't." 2025: "Fake news!" "Ruzzian Chinese propaganda!""No more RT for you. Sorry. And soon we'll be curtailing TikTok (US), Xiaohongshu (Taiwan) and any Asian cinema as well. (US)"

    Human rights?

2000: "You're allowed to protest about anything." 2025: "Protesting genocide of Palestine by Israel is anti-semitic and thus illegal. (UK)"
