I wish it was the heaviest thing I dealt with. It is big but my God, (mandatory) Microsoft apps, particularly Teams and Outlook, make that look small in comparison
Saw this one before, the message is good but I dislike the use of a box at all here because the analogy is still weird. I like to think of it as an equalizer, traits are at different volumes and gains like the different frequency ranges of sound going through a sound system simultaneously. (Think bar chart for alternate example.) Different traits manifest differently, i.e. perseverance, stimming, sensory sensitivity, monotropism, special interests, etc.
Tangentially on the same topic, I dislike the term "on the spectrum" because this article's reasoning. You are not sitting atop a one dimensional number line. You ARE the spectrum, and your spectrum "settings" differ from that of others, though only to a certain extent (or otherwise Autism would not exist)
Alright if that's your view of it then fine, punch them down, but prop something up that's suitable. America is on fire right now. The people need something to rally behind that isn't MAGA. All the opposition wants to do is infight. There's nothing uniting everyone except Fuck Trump.
Champion status shouldn't reflect rating IMO. They measure different things (your ability to perform in the highest pressure tournaments, versus general skill)
He can change this by continuing to win more and lose less. To reflect being #1 he needs to take #1 from Magnus. That is probably the hardest challenge he will face in his career/life.
There is a lot more to this way than just the hostage situation - Israel has been in control of Palestinian territory for a long time (they consider it theirs) and they have been fighting with the Hamas organization for years now. This is the single worst escalation of it.
Hamas doesn't want peace. The status quo is domination of Palestine under Israel government - erasure of Palestine effectively if they laid down arms and disbanded. They want liberty, and payback for hardships.
There isn't reason to believe Israel will stop the attacks on return of the hostages, as they have gone overwhelmingly above and beyond the total damage done by Hamas (even comparing women and children victims vs. the concert raid that started it all) and given Netanyahu's far right government is at the helm, so your second point has merit.
That's a strange way to get rickrolled
