I don't think lobsters is a direct alternative to Reddit since its main topic is tech-related stuff and Lemmy's more like general-purposed. Also it's invite only so I guess hackernews is more appropriate?
You're kind of rude to assume that they are not sensible enough not to trust what ChatGPT says blindly. I also use LLMs but I check if everyhing is alright before I do anything it suggested me to. IMO, it's okay to use LLMs if you can learn something from it. (but I can't afford a server with a GPU, sadly)
It's not porn availability that's threatened, but freedom. I don't want to use bitcoin and I still think it's a scam and a sort of gamble, but if Visa or Mastercard can deprive us of freedom, we may have to consider using bitcoin.
