I could find hundreds of references if I was being paid, it's a very well established fact. It's the reason organ transplant matches can be very difficult to find for people with African ancestry.
Honestly it's a bit weird to come back and see I've been downvoted. Echoes of Lysenkoism.
Is RFK talking out of his arse? Most likely. But there is a lot more MHC variation amongst Africans, I don't know if that extends to African-Americans because they were mostly taken from a small area. So there are undeniable, medically relevant differences between ethnicities when it comes to the immune system.
I don't know if celebrating is the right word. I'm not American and would never have voted for Trump, but in isolation this seems fairly benign and I think a majority of people will be glad to hear it. You might disagree, that's fine, I'm not interested in an extended argument about it.
That guy bothers me, I don't think medical professionals should cultivate personality cults. Then again I don't really think politicians should either, and that's basically the definition of politics.
Because it's very, very silly identity politics and the majority of people agree. You've got to let it go and focus on important things, like the insane and ever-increasing wealth inequality.
It's pee, but I'm into that.
