Exactly, there was a huge covid boom for lumber mills and the market got saturated. Now all those small shops that opened during the boom can’t survive on the post Covid margins and are shutting down.
As much as Trump is a shitbag, this is probably more likely tied to changing mill economics post covid.
If I lived closer to work maybe. But my commute is 45 minutes there at ~75mph on highways, and then repeat that on the way back. I routinely see temperatures below 0F and above 100F.
I completely misinterpreted the headline. After reading the article, the headline probably should instead be “cracked down on the use of tax shelters”. They aren’t cracking down on the tax shelters themselves.
