  • The common term is “communities” or “comms”, I think.

    I would try to look for servers dedicated to the subject you’re interested in and see what communities they have. Keep in mind that there are much fewer users on Lemmy than Reddit, so there might not be a specialized community for a given subject. And if there is, it might be very small/inactive.

  • Yeah, the numbers for Norway are when the cars are registered, which happens when they arrive at the dealer. Since Tesla ships their cars in large batches, the numbers are difficult to compare.

  • Indeed! For example, the Tōkaidō high speed line between Tokyo and Osaka runs almost 400 trains every day with an average delay of about 12 seconds 🤯

    Bear in mind that this is just the high speed service (Shinkansen). There is also a parallel line for local trains.
