  • Tariffs. Lack of aftermarket parts.

A big reason why EVs are more expensive to repair after a collision comes down to the availability of parts.

  • Same thing was said last time Trump was in power. Then 4 years of nothing.

This is just one issue of many but this is the one that gained traction. Remember Trump and Republicans first coup attempt? Remember the motel rooms full of guns?

Did we ever find out how rally goers from Alabama knew which windows on the Capitol Building were bomb proof reinforced?

Maybe in another 4 years will be the perfect time. Maybe.

  • Who do you think is going to win the AI data center bubble : USA with Republicans in full control or China with their green tech they've been building for 20 years?

For a hint look up the current price of sunshine in China and who has the off button on rare earth metals needed for modern society to function.

  • It's good fun.

  • Naysayers contend that the astounding outlays are inflating a bubble that will end with a calamitous pop. Once that happens, they predict, the country will be covered with a lot of empty buildings, perfect for laser tag and not much else.

Found the bright side. The cup is always half full. Always. /s

  • Read up on what happened during Trump's first 4 years. Then read what Xi told Biden in Peru last year.

Then you'll know what happens next.

  • Yes. You are beginning to understand what has been going on.

  • UBI really needed to happen before AI and advanced robots. Really interested to see how China handles this.

  • Because Trump doesn't need to bail out farmers in Argentina.

The recent uptick in agricultural purchases from China also comes after the world's second-largest economy turned, at least temporarily, to Argentina for its supply of soybeans in lieu of U.S. exports.

The same thing that happened last time only it keeps getting worse for USA farmers.

  • Everyone should have high hopes for Slate EV. Especially the people that don't want one.

  • Republicans voted for this. About 77 million. Republicans are in charge. Not ICE.

Fuck Republicans who are using ICE to make Project 2025 happen.

  • Best outcome would be after the deal is final people stop using Netflix.

  • What does Ukraine have? What does Palestine have?

They both have new fossil fuel reserves discovered before the wars started.

  • Steering racks are expensive. Doesn't matter if EV or ICE. Don't buy cars with expensive known issues.

Extended warranties are not a gamble. They are peace of mind for those that want them. Getting the company to honor their warranty is the gamble.

I hate warranties but if I trusted any car company's bumper to bumper warranty I'd pay for it.

  • $6,000 to fix the steering rack when it goes bad.

  • That's kinda my point. In USA the price of solar has always been expensive. It's now really cheap. Just not in USA. China made it affordable. USA made it expensive again.

    Same thing with EVs.

  • What happens when people in America find out how much sunshine costs?

I suspect around when that happens interest in battery powered cars will increase.

  • Timing makes sense with her sudden resignation and everything about her that we already know.
