There’s lots of them. Some are probably more legit then others.
But it’s a bit of a never ending war. You don’t “eventually win” by having the service for a while. If you lapse on using it new brokers just spin up with that data.
For phone spam specifically you might look into using a google voice number or something similar listed on your resume or used when applying. After initial contact is made you might follow up with something scheduled on your main line. Another option is spam apps on your phone.
Consoles sell at a loss with the idea that they recoup it with game purchases.
Steam gets a 30% cut of game purchases and could do it also. Unfortunately/fortunately it’s also a functioning Linux desktop - so they can’t really sell it at a loss - because some companies might just purchase it for compute.
