I get paid for 8 hours per week, at a rate thats roughly equivalent to the national average wage, to be available for eight hours on three different days.
I almost never actually do eight hours of actual work, so I feel like I'm okay with this deal. I turn off the phone evenings and weekends, I'm not the only one who can help with stuff most of the time.
I do get that a lot of stuff about being on call is abusive and exploitive, but most of the world is not the US.
My understanding is it's legit. The original studies included a Margin of error which was not included in the headlines, shockingly. This new figure is within those margins.
The problem is with the testing method used to identify the plastic, it also detects a bunch of other stuff that's supposed to be there.
Get a taco, hard shell one.
Put icecream in it until full, toffee ripple works best
Cover it in sprinkles of chocolate, mixed with praline if you can
Freeze it solid again
I have an advantage I guess, we'll see if it really helps. As a therapist, many of my friends are therapists so I have good support options. Remains to be seen if I remember to use it!
Nintendos? The sub atomic particles?
