it's still not affecting his daily life in any meaningful way. He is still worth $108 billion dollars. That can't be said for normal people like me or others who actually do it because its the right thing to do.
I don't know if you're willing to believe there is no need for billionaires to ever be created or for the world to depend on the goodness of their hearts for the functioning of society.
I suppose this is a convenient go to to keep the status quo for people who speak about doing good things but don't want to rock the boat. When change through peaceful means becomes impossible then non-peaceful events start to take place, and there won't be any order compared to planned and coordinated transition away from the awful systems in place. Would you like to live through that instead?
Also some random dude running a bodega is not an oligarchy but nobody said it was. Oligarchies exist and their destruction is necessary for actually competitive free markets so the random dude with a bodega is not driven out of business in the first place.
