  • In Munich and I’m the same, work to home is 20mins on PT, and everything I need is available at the home end of the journey. If I need to go to a bigger supermarket or something less regular I can take a different way home and stop in the middle. The problem isn’t PT, it’s urban sprawl and poor amenity planning.

  • Agree with this and the other commenter, the cable that came with my last phone stayed in the box and hasn’t been unfurled. I also agree this is almost certainly more about profit than environmentalism, but unused cables are e-waste, and I like to use a longer cable so the short ones that come with the phone have limited use case for people like me.

  • Eh, I’ve been living in Munich for a few months now, there are rentable e-scooters here and I’ve not had one issue with them as a pedestrian. Although Munich has a lot of bike paths and biking is a very common mode of transport…
