  • I got a bunch of messages. I saw my inbox, dismissed the spam and then I saw this meme. Actually lol'd. Thank you.

edit: although I'm a bit concerned... What's going on here? Anyone actually check out those links..? Obviously sketchy. Malware? Some kind of long con scam? Does this person know their image is being used?

  • Welcome! It feels fresh to not be on a big tech platform.

  • You could just read the script file first.. Or YOLO trust it like you trust any file downloaded from a relatively safe source.. At least you can read a script.

  • Can we for all that is good get more Linux support? there isn't any proton drive application for Linux. The excuse? Not enough available linux devs.

I dont have the numbers but who does proton think a good chunk of their customer base is or can be? People who use Linux because they value their privacy.

    Its mind boggling.

Its 'coming, ' whatever that means.

  • Lol that's hilarious if not sad.

  • Welcome to Linux. You'll learn, and for the better, by using it more. Like picking up anything new there will be difficulties at times, but well worth it. The first positive on your list is good enough reason that makes any difficulties worth surpassing.

  • Agreed. I hate the direction this is going towards but I'll just find other avenues.

  • It's hard resisting the power of the moon.

  • Well. I appreciate the honesty.. I guess.

  • I also am a fan of dwm.

The wonderful thing about open source projects is just use the code and move on.

One can modify it as they please if needed, but if the code has no crappy political baggage then so be it.

  • For real. Keep using weird.

I'm tired seeing politicians talk about everything but their actual policies. Hope they actually say stuff of substance like oh I don't know their policies?

  • Right? It's very simple. If the site doesn't work I close it and never look back.

  • Well done and doing it proper.

  • what about when you stumble upon an old post of yours?

  • and they came out and supported Hillary Clinton

With all due respect, what reality do you exist in?

  • for sure. necessity breeds invention. sometimes i just want enshittification to takes its course so foss adoption grows more.

  • That's great. Love this sand boxing.
