Haha I had a class about US-LatAm Relationships in the 20th Century, taught by a CIA historian. I don't know I didn't end up biting right through my tongue.
Was just talking to my dad about this. Most people would agree that there was a point in German history before 1939 where people would have been justified in shooting at the authorities. But zoom in, and decide which day marked that point, and you'll have a lot of disagreement.
OK I see. Maybe you could take some online courses that offer certificates. These can be substitutes for job experience, at least for more entry level jobs. Relationships are just a fact of life. It doesn't have to be nefarious. If I wanted to hire someone, I would much prefer a personal recommendation. It's less risky than hiring a total stranger based only on a resume. With that in mind, join some local tech clubs/meetups (if they exist) and make some friends!
Yo! I remember this dude from when I was on reddit socialistra! I don't remember him being bad in any way, but I disagree with him here. Your weapon choices should flow from your expectations for their use. Any rifle is better than no rifle, and this one isn't even a dinosaur like a fuckin Mosin or something.
Yes, optics are definitely worth it and you should get them on your weapons if you can. I will say that given the current situation/conditions and likely zones of potential armed conflict... I would recommend shorter weapons. Something that you can shoulder, but small. Pistol-caliber carbines, Uzi/mac-type guns etc. Concealable and maneuverable for ambushes and quick raids.
"At night all the ancients, and the superhuman crew, come out and round up everyone, who knows more than they do."
"Goddam, well I declare, have you seen the like? Their walls are built of cannonballs, their motto is don't tread on me."
"I don't know, but I've been told that it's hard to run with the weight of gold. Other times I've heard it said, that it's just as hard with the weight of lead. One way or another, something's got to give. One way or another, this darkness got to give."
I really do think that liberals should take a hard look at themselves. They don't flinch to call Russian soldiers orcs, and ascribe to their foreign policy a mindless bloodthirst. Do they think of US soldiers the same way? Or US foreign policy (even under someone like darling Obama)? Seriously: who is more "evil" Putin or Obama? By what measure?
This dude also has some solid videos on flock (and other things). Everyone should know that cities and towns are kicking flock out left and right. Use this momentum to organize against them in your town too!
I've been in my first IT job for almost 3 years now. Here's what I did. I have always been into computers as a hobby, but didn't have any work references. To fix that, I took 2 or 3 semesters of IT classes at the community college. This was for 'experience'/certificates, but also to network. In the end, my professor recommended me for my current job, after hearing from an old friend in the HR dept.
That was very fortunate, but it was part of my plan, and I do know of at least 2 of my classmates who got jobs the same way. If I hadn't gotten that job, I would have applied for state/county/city/university jobs. They have pretty straightforward and transparent hiring, almost always open positions, and are decent jobs with good benefits.
Without the US, Israel could not do what it is doing. Between that, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, and all the starvation and suffering resulting from illegal sanctions and blockades around the world, the US does far greater harm than any other country.
Don't forget that local cops also show up to beat and gas people on behalf of ICE (and Israel). ACAB all day everyday.
