I don't get the people shitting on this. It's a very fair plan. Something I've been wishing existed for the past month, even. Like the article states, it's for people who use YT to watch TV (me).
I just hope there's a yearly plan to get a little bit more of a discount. Student plan is the same price but no yearly plan, so it comes to ~$90 per year.
I find it funny that a lot of cyberpunk settings have rampant (usually legal) drug use because employers want you to perform at any cost but real life is a boring dystopia that demands worker suffering.
I boil them for about 15 minutes I think. Been a while since I made them. Why an ice bath? Just run under cold water while peeling.
I don't mean to imply you need to burn the fucker to cook it. I've eaten it all types of ways. I just hate liquid yolk. If I pop one the yolk runs all over and just ruins the dish for me.
Hemmer didn't have to die. Step out into the cold to slow down the xeno larva inside you, bro.
Even ignoring the plot, the writers really thought "let's kill probably the 3rd most interesting character on this show". I do love the immortal lady that replaced him, but what they did to him was so messed up.
Isn't asthma medication pretty cheap and long lasting? From what little I know an inhaler can last many months. Also if they can't afford that, surely they have state medical insurance to help with it? Just seems so scammy.
I thought all dogs were smarter than people thought because my first one (Yorkie) was practically a little kid in how he could understand me. I could tell him to go somewhere and he'd do it. He let me know if he needed to pee outside or if he was hungry. Always surprised me how much a dog could understand!
Then I got a new one recently (Goldendoodle) and this little guy is a complete dumbass.
I suspect it may come down to experience though. Yorkie was already about 4 when we got him and only took about a year for me and him to really understand each other. The Doodle we got when he was only a little over a month old and we've had him close to a year but it has been a pain to train. Could also just be down to personality, because he has done some pretty intelligent things that surprised us.
I think it's more you as a person understand that the sentence is that, a sentence. You understand how the sentence is made, why it means what it means, not just what it means.
The dog only understands the what.
Doesn't mean you still can't help teach dogs to communicate. Even saw a segment recently on PBS about dogs learning to use buttons that produce words and using them to make short sentences to communicate with their owners.
Well shit that answers my question as well. I'd definitely set him straight on his "disappointing" because it doesn't seem like he respects an agreement.
Good luck separating that man child from his money at least.
This is why Lemmy is the only decentralized service I use. Can't imagine putting your faith of the heart in random users to store your data. If my instance shuts down it will suck but the only real value lost is discussions and funny posts.
Hilarious how the only game still unclaimed is the bad Wolfenstein one.
