So it seems like Aoi doesn't necessarily want a romantic relationship, but rather a genuine one. I wouldn't say she isn't in love with senpai because it's too early to tell, but she clearly felt a new and unidentified emotion for Makoto.
Anyway this show is Personal Attack: The Anime for me because every fucking character seems to be calling me out :)
This episode moved my opinion up from meh to interesting. The general vibe of the anime also reminds me of some things that happened in the past so I think I might be a bit biased when reviewing it.
I also didn't know about Osamu Dazai until I saw the last discussion thread but now I'm interested in looking at some of his work. I feel like it's best read in Japanese though and unfortunately I'm not fluent enough to get that kind of prose.
Also I really like Maeshima Mayu so I had that ed in some of my playlists before I even knew this show existed lol
I feel you. I set aside a couple of hours to read novels before sleeping but I used to read waaay more during the day. I miss the days where I could just read an entire novel series on a whim over the course of three days.
I considered starting "My Wife Has No Emotion" at the start of the season but I already had a lot in my Watching list and the description didn't really convince me. Is the manga any good?
I finally finished 86 a couple of days ago. I don't think I've seen many military fantasy stories but I enjoyed it. I think the worldbuilding was done really well and the characters feel real. I also liked how it didn't firmly establish how a character really is and kept some of that ambiguity where people don't fully understand their own feelings and never really do. I'll pick up the LNs sometime. Maybe in a few months because I wanna finish reading the new volume of MagiRevo and the rest of CotE.
I should start commenting here more often. I only really come to this sub when I want to discuss new episodes or find recommendations but it's not like I have so little time I can't even discuss the stuff I clear off my backlog.
Is the LN worth reading? I'm still on the fence about dropping this show because some part of me hopes that it gets better because it does have potential.
Wtf Tobias is a real piece of shit, but Dahlia feels like she does basically nothing. I hope that changes soon.
The art confuses me. Why the hell were some of the scenes in ep 1 so good but the rest of it so lazy? The animation feels off to me. Usually I'm able to ignore poor animation quality but the other parts that annoy me kind of add up. It could be really good but it falls short, and that's worse than a show being just plain bad.
I don't really have a lot of spare time to binge through my backlog so I just kind of spend a little time watching new episodes and then leave a comment and continue with my day. I'm tempted to just drop this and get back to it some time in the future but for now I'm still a little curious about what's going to happen.
So someone's actually reading Haga's bug reports. I was wondering why the debuggers were stuck in the game and eventually I landed at an absurd theory that the game world is actually real and the devs are fixing an isekai or something. Watch me look like a fool when it's revealed that all this happened because a suit wanted number go up.

It seems like Makoto has taken another step towards being more confident. Ryuji's sister is surprisingly perceptive (not that it's hard to tell how Ryuji feels lol).
As much as I enjoy watching trash isekai, I'm glad the author dropped that idea. Maybe I'm just overthinking it but I think having a more "real" setting makes it more relatable and appealing for a wider audience, which is something this show deserves. This is definitely something I have no trouble recommending to people (glances at oshi no ko).

It's still episode 3 and we're already at a point that seems like it would show up in the last 3 episodes. Considering how good the show has been so far I'm super excited to see what comes next.
Its been 3 years since I started reading Nagatoro. My life has changed quite a bit since then. I graduated, got a job, did a bunch of other stuff. I think this was the best way to end the manga.
This feels really pretentious. I'll take a look at the source material at some point to see if it's any good but I'm dropping this anime for now.
