  • Millimeters?

  • Nurse sharks are friendly? The things I remember about them from my childhood book on sharks are: they sleep in big piles on the ocean floor, their eggs are like weird sacks, and they latch on after biting and will not let go

  • But how do you make the eggs reassemble themselves?

  • The article dances around the idea of a debtors union using a payment strike for leverage without saying it, which is probably why it's so vague. That's an option that the CFPB doesn't have, plus it wouldn't be subject to the same bureaucratic process as a government agency. Imagine if every credit card holder were prepared to stop paying until the unions terms are met. One person trying that isn't getting far, a big enough group would threaten to turn enough valuable debt into junk to force change

  • Immigrant status is just the start. They don't care about what laws mean at all, and the crowd cheers for it.

  • The author, Chris Ferrie, has a whole series of science for babies. We have ones about the planets and another just about Pluto that my kid was real into for a while

  • Our favorite restaurant* growing up had a little corner with like 3 tables as the non smoking section. We'd go there because my kindergarten teacher and her husband owned it.

  • Damn, Demodex has a looooooong butt!

  • Exoskeleton operated by boners. Also describes Evangelion

  • Like herbal remedy or just herbs besides mint? Rosemary toothpaste?

  • "Flops" means "inspired threats of violence" now?

  • Put a Butterfree costume in the Metapod ahead of time

  • You already have them and then you don't have to feed them anymore. Food costs lowered for the average American! 🫡

  • You're organizing those things, or at least joining others who are organizing, right?

  • This 100%. It's still an IP that they own and when it's brought out of the vault it's new to a bunch of people and nostalgic to others

  • Player character deaths in my games so far:

    1. Beheaded at the bottom of the ocean (he got better)
    2. Crashed into by a banshee powered aircraft
    3. Touched a god killing weapon which is too full of sadness for mortals to handle

Does converted to an NPC upon leaving the campaign for scheduling reasons count as death by scheduling reasons? The character lives on

  • Technically you get to meet with the cheese sandwich. They could only afford one cheese sandwich and you meet with it over zoom to make sure you don't eat it

  • I'd push that button

  • My players love Pathfinder, but after running a 1-20 campaign for years I needed a break from it. So far this year we've played Apocalypse Frame, Delta Green, and Troika. It's been a blast trying out different systems and settings, had a few surprises about how much we liked or didn't like different mechanics.
