I've been dual booting for ages without any windows-caused issues. is it windows 11 specifically that messes with dual booting or did I accidentally work around it by installing Linux to a separate ssd
I'm not following, do you need the bitlocker key when Linux is on a separate disk? is there something extra you need to keep in mind compared to just running windows?
it says you need to have smart features on for this to work. I went looking for how to turn it off, but aparently in the EU, UK, Japan and others it's off by default
I don't think you have a good read on Europeans at least. public sentiment is quite different in different countries, with people in countries closer to Russia being willing to go much further to oppose Russia.
while the average Dutchman probably wouldn't want to fight for their own country, let alone another one, I don't doubt that people in e.g. Poland, the Baltic states or Finland are much more aware of the danger to themselves and their country and more willing to make personal sacrifices.
frankly, I think you are mistaken about what it means to be political. It isn't strictly about one party vs another. you can talk about politics without explicitly supporting or disliking a political party.
being political at the core is about policy.
and this is why star wars was political from the start. it wasn't just a cool story, it was meant in part to make you sympathise with the rebels, and dislike the empire. And crucially, to link the rebels to Vietnam and the empire with the US and Nixon. it shows a dislike of what the US was doing, what the party in charge was doing, and perhaps to turn people away from that.
saying all that isn't political is like saying Bob Dylan wasn't political because he didn't support one or another party
