Either the election isn't close at all which would make sense with how desperate and frankly weird Republican party antics have been lately. They're nothing but off putting and seem to focus on efforts that are most likely to make them look like overly online idiots. Or the polling is accurate and people are just the dumbest they have ever been and thus democracy is a failure in the modern era. Which means the first party to take over and nullify an election will likely hold power for quite some time. Rather distressing. I am hopeful that the polling is just wrong in this case.
I thought about writing a long ass response to this but fuck all of that.
I honestly am happy with where it is as a game after playing it since 1.0 and hope they keep making it better and better. I get why some people don't think the sub is worth it and that's entirely their value judgement to make. But there is loads of shit to do and it's pretty happy if you come hang out then leave for some months and come back later for a good binge. And the community is still pretty awesome though there have been a few too many people trying to avoid assimilation. But resistance is futile. They will assimilate. And the game will keep going until they get tied of it and jike the whole shebang again.
Legacy media sucks pretty much. They keep sucking off Republicans and asking Harris non questions that no one gives a shit about. They talk about wanting to press her on issues but then they don't do that at all. Their idea of pressing her on an issue is asking her about dumb shit like her race or some statement she made back in the past that's already clearly explained. Meanwhile when they interview Republicans it's all hwarts and rainbows and normalization.
I continually fail to see how anyone could think Trump was good for the economy when he lowered taxes and raised spending by so much. Then tbe whole tariff thing that just fucked up supply and prices and the deportation scares that caused crops to sit rotting. What the fuck.
Based on some recent posts as well as just what's been going on there are plenty of people in the federal government who think this is just great. Which is disgusting and the dumbest shit imaginable.
Its destabilizing places for the sake of it this isn't even an efficient way to kill people, make money, or get political influence so I cannot for the life of me understand what is going on at this point.
I legitimately have no clue what the state department is doing or thinks it's doing. This isn't even good for money since now they can't sell arms to quite a few nations because those weapons will immediately be spent on Israel. And they can't send too much to Israel because it looks even worse and every dollar they send costs political will. Its dumb.
Yeah this isn't st all a good sign for them. They don't believe in mandates so this isn't to get a lead and they are lazy, they wouldn't do this much if they didn't absolutely think they would need it.
They should just hold congress somewhere else just for that day to fuck with them.
