However, there's certainly the possibility of a similar mutual defense pact emerging in the Pacific, which includes NATO nations (read: the United States and Canada).

I think that it's because there are a lot fewer people on Lemmy than there are on Reddit, therefore a lot of content that would normally go to different subreddits is instead being aggregated on the larger communities on Lemmy.
I'm admittedly sort of split on Prozac. It brings up the lows, yes, but at least for me, it also really brought down the highs as well. And when my highs aren't exactly all that high to begin with, it makes me feel like I'm in a perpetual state of "blah".
