  • I dont believe your results are what would happen but neither of us have data to back it since its conjecture.

    Here's what I do know, US has more guns than anyone and also has the biggest issue with gun violence. Normally I dont imply correlation is always causation, but I havent seen any other reason that is unique to the US for the increased gun violence other than the uniquely high number of guns and the clear fetishization of guns.

    This is as someone looking in, so I dont pretend to have all the answers, it just seems weird to say "there are lots of pool drownings each year, so let's put more pools in everyone's houses so they can learn preventative swimming" that's what adding more guns sounds like to me.
