What the hell? Thats not funny or anything it just fucks with your ex-coworkers who probably werent the problem, management isnt affected by that.
Pro tip, you seem really arrogant (including some other comments) and you need to tone that down before you enter the industry. Its nothing to be ashamed of and I'm not trying to insult you, you just assume your experiences are way more universally valid than they are.
How DARE that user prevent the spread of misinformation and add valuable context. They should be ashamed for being such a naughty little corporate shill!
You suck, I hate how your comment was forced "apon" me. Anyone who claims things that they can easily avoid if theyre so opinionated against them are "forced upon" them are always pathetic people.
The simple answer your entire query is the fact that PCIe is not the bottleneck. The bus that connects your storage to the CPU is faster than any storage we have these days (ignore sata it doesn't count). There is no innovation to be had with your suggestion, just complexity.
Now, there is something related to your suggestion. Graphics cards are exploring / have explored having storage communicate with them directly because of the latency in loading assets into the CPU then sending them to the GPU. This is where progress is being made on optimizing communication between storage and host.
Good thing the world is that simple, you're completely correct. Nobody who could theoretically prevent something they don't like is not entitled to their dislike, duh!
Haha okay dude, you're clearly out of touch with the youth these days. Gen Z says "okay boomer" and that's pretty much it en masse. Gen Z is however not putting up with corporate bullshit as much.
Most proper public transit rollouts also include point-to-point vans specifically made to haul disabled people around. Even the USA has these in some places!
See ya in two years when AI is dead and mozilla is pivoting to "focus on the fundamentals" and only works on the browser
