If the roles were reversed, I bet most people around here would be complaining at "Chinese imperialism" or something. But an European country*, from "the West", part of the "free world", can do no wrong.
It has, but not by much. Unemployment is lower, minimum wage has been raising above inflation. Worth to mention that several campaing promises went unfullfilled, unsurprisingly. Next year's election has a fair chance of being won by the far right again, with a little help from Trump and his big tech cronies. Hard times ahead...
I'm not american, but if I could change one US president from the past, it would be Reagan. A good part of the fuckery we see today (i.e. rampant neo-liberal late-stage capitalism) was enabled by him
I quite enjoy this blog: The Luddite, an anticapitalist blog by a guy/gal who does IT. Owner doesn't post frequently but it's always a good read whenever a new text is up
