  • Imagine all the privacy relevant data contained therein

  • You didn't engage with it but have spent the equivalent of 6 weeks of full time work in the game?

Maybe I'm setting my bar too low, but for a video game I expect to get 1hr enjoyment per dollar spent for me to consider a game 'worthwhile.'

That aside, I agree it would be nice to have a more lived in feel in NMS, cities, a feel of civilization.

  • Very nice. Does the saucer detach? (By design, I mean, not just splitting bricks.)

  • I mean, wouldn't this be Ross? He's been pardoned, right?

  • Get a CPAP for yourself. If you have apnea then it'll improve your quality of sleep immensely.

  • Fair enough. The company I'm talking about did a million a month in payroll.

  • Transportation cost. I live in a city that makes a specific brand of granola bars. If I go buy a box off the shelf at the store, that box has traveled a minimum of 400km before I touch it (ignoring converters and whatnot in the production facility.)Centralization has really fucked up the cost of things.

  • I worked in a service center for a big company back in my 20's, they would factor in callouts to their staffing plan, and use historical data for it. They also paid 2.5x time on holidays like the 25/26 December. That's what a million dollar company should look like...if you want to make sure there's coverage, you pay for it.

  • Doesn't the system driver need to support the standard?

  • After the dominion war, why would the founders not only continue making Jem'Hadar, let alone changing them to include the existence of a second gender and ability to reproduce sexually?

  • Omg I hope that's not a thing. Canonically Jem'Hadar can't reproduce

  • The IoT edition of Windows 11 runs in 4GB ram and performs ok. I don't recommend more ram, I recommend either Linux or LTSC IoT.

  • They absolutely should have figured out some basic bitch warp drive for the saucer. Pop out nacelles? At some point the D was provided with a runabout, maybe two of those could have extended a warp shell around the saucer? Literally anything would be better than asking it to limp along at sublight speeds.

  • In regards to paw patrol, I feel that

    • The cop dog is constantly saving the day even by doing other dogs' jobs even when he shouldn't be stepping in
    • There are no clever stories in that universe
    • Every single problem they face could be permanently solved by a Belgian Malinois with a Barret 50cal
  • Some things have survived, like CUPS...but yeah, their track record isn't great.

  • I'm not using either of those. I'm using the LMDE default, Cinnamon.

  • For anyone else who was as out of the loop as I was, Flock is an American company that provides cameras, license plate readers, communications, and straight up data to U.S. law enforcement.
