From my understanding though they weren't in a position of power and came from not the greatest backgrounds. I'd consider what happened to them exploitation and while they should be shamed a bit and not seen as artists the real assholes aren't them

Lol look up accidental deaths from guns in the US. Having a gun in any situation ups the chance someone will be shot or die. We hear about it on the news all the time. People left their gun in a bathroom, people didn't use their holster right and shot themselves/someone else, a child got their parent's gun and harmed themselves or someone else. I've literally watched people drop their gun out of the shitty holsters they buy.
I understand the math but disgusted at the moral/ethics.

That said no you don't need to suffer to know hate honestly it is easier to hate without suffering, those who suffer have empathy. Kindest people you'll meet will have difficult lives. The losers, dregs, outcasts and hurt ones. Most assholes I know are privileged and comfortable.
