  • Good, but not great. The first half hits hatd, but the second have would have benifited from an extra episode. And the sidden perfect ending feels kind weird, so I have to agree with the birdector a bit, even if a terrible ending would have been worse. But its enjoyable nontheless.

  • Yeah. Reddit is currently enshitifying in overdrive. They used to just do dumb features nobody wants, but now they are actively harming the base. The entire Luigi over-moderation this is just bad, and it feels like they want the formerly leftist site to go full maga now. and even if I do have to use it, the website often tends to not function properly these days, with the site constantly reloading, or voting functions to be broken. This is the year of lemmy.

  • It wasn't perfect, the relationship was weird, but considering the girl is the MC I gave it a pass. but going out of their way to legitimize it does make it weirder. It also strongly pivots from comedic to serious, but there is solid world-building, as well as great epic scenes. Plus a cute badass like Jill is fun to watch, logic be dammed. Fun but flawed, aka a 7. One of the worse shows of the season, but that doesn't mean its bad. I still prefer it over Dandadan any day.

    I don'#t think there is ever gonna be a season 2 of this dough.

  • Meh finale. Explained nothing. Reminds me of the disappointment that was the nokotan finale. Maybe comedy animes are just bad at ending things? But if just felt unsatisfying as a series finale, and didn't live up to the buildup. If only there were more than three translated manga chapters.

    There is a chance for a season 2, as the original manga has 70 chapters, and the three that are translated cover roughly the first 2 episodes, as the showrunners added stuff to better fit the new format. So I presume only half the manga is adapted. It is somehow the sixth most popular show of the season in japan, the most important region (the japanese do truly love cute things, lol), so it is possible.
