  • Ok Subnatica was just too much at first, no fun. Ya, I'm guilty. Looked cool, but I quit at 2.4hrs.Dave the Diver got 82 minures out of me. I'll play it again. Witcher 3. Man, I can't convince myself to finish the early ones and I don't want to start at 3.Other notables like Fallout 4 and No Mans Sky got hundreds of hours from me.

Add Elden Ring to the list. That game is a piece of work ... that I did not enjoy. 13hrs.

  • My Larry came to me already chonk sized. He's litterally big-boned too, almost as big as my sister's Maine Coon. Larry has a younger sister to annoy him and fight with, so he does something besides shit. Hoping to slim my big buddy down a bit ...

  • Thank you all! I haven't had Larry very long. He's a big orange sweetheart, extremely affectionate and sensitive.

  • I like your perspective.

  • As far as I can recall, I was never a 'child'. I was a smaller person with my own motivations and drives. Childhood, as we regard it, with its mystical properties is a myth.

  • then ur fukt. and so am i.

  • build it. i will join.

  • Sorry. I was irritated w sombody else. Peace.

  • I've been there. Apparently I was able to extract more from the experience than you. But there's still time.

  • My sis is a hippie. She used to manage a crystal and book store. Thinks she's a witch. So ya, she's usually got a half burned lump of weeds sitting around. At least she don't mind when I burn my weed. So, there's that.

  • That hammock sounds definitive "cocoon".You gonna wake up with wings one day?

  • A friend visited for a few days. He left his face-hugger at home. His sleep was awful. Sounded like he was fighting with people. He looked worse and worse. By the time he left, I think he was in dire need of a full sleep. It was gross. Stop doing coke, Keith. At least he's lost some weight since then. Its probly the coke tho ...

  • I read a good chunk of the paper. It was surreal.

  • Um ... ya, thanks for that insightful advice. If you didn't catch it, I've been around since CD lights were leaking data. And I know all about it. I aint new.

  • You brought it up, friend. And you were pretty emphatic about it. Read what you wrote.Seems good to me. Nurturing experiences are great, but conflict is frequently formative.

  • Remember the blinking light on the CD tray on your old PC? Early ones would leak data that way, the light could be decoded. While I was searching for that, I found a more recent attack where the light is repurposed to actually just transmit data. And I found another proof of concept that uses the RAM cycles to transmit data through the air.

Its a good thing I don't have any secrets.

  • And its long in the past, my friend. But the more you reveal, the more foundational the experience sounds for you.Step back. Look again. It helped make you who you are.

  • Brother, that's pretty hard stuff from my perspective.Come to Oregon. Buy some mushroom gummies. Stare at the lake and the trees for a couple hours. My sister recently got a cancer diagnosis. I flew her out here for that exact purpose. Did her a world of good.

  • Well thanks, but I didn't finish my doctorate. I'm not really a sociologist. It's just a hobby.

  • I hate all the plastic I waste. And I aint super hygienic about it, re-use em a couple times. But I love those things.I have 2 dental implants. Flossing is not optional. And implants are about $5,000 + 1 year of your life. Its an investment you don't want to re-do.I'm not some dental saint here, I lost those teeth originally through poor care. I brush once or twice daily, but I floss after every meal.
