  • But it did lead to the fanon that, because of crossover episodes, basically all media takes place in that kid's mind.

Including reality - "Cops" is in the crossover chain even if you don't count celebrity appearances as themselves.

  • Most of what I got out of a Japanese class I took was how to say that I don't understand Japanese.

  • Does it really vary much by region?

You do seem to be right about him being from the southern US, his obit linked from the wiki says he was born and died in Alabama.

  • That chart...

EARTH HAS 4 CORNERSIMULTANEOUS 4-DAYTIME CUBE

  • "People" is one specific person. Sxan or something.

  • OP writes these.

And does so incredibly well in my opinion.

  • Very nice find!

  • I would disagree, but not strongly, since I can sorta see it too - there's ludonarrative dissonance with the PCs only affecting combat and minor exploration skills while the plot mostly happens to an NPC (the main character) and their NPC friends and enemies, some of which look and sound exactly like the PCs.

That said, I'm still making decisions and solving puzzles and advancing the plot, leveling up and farming stuff, etc.

  • Ah - I just hadn't heard that term before and had to guess what it meant. Thanks!

  • The person you were responding to was trying to read it as a chemical - a gold atom with two deuterium (heavy hydrogen) and one regular hydrogen atom, and came up with a name for it themself.

  • Generally "2.4 GHz" refers specifically to a proprietary protocol that the manufacturer invented - so yes, it can save battery (and be lower latency) assuming they designed it well. And yes, there's probably no standard way to get the battery status from a USB dongle like there is from Bluetooth, so if the Windows drivers can do it, then it's their own secret recipe.

  • I don't see why not, they have leveling, battle, and quest mechanics similar to JRPGs - but playable character acquisition is mostly via gacha instead of from the plot. Honkai: Star Rail is even turn-based.

  • Or the tails should be, either way.

  • Oh, "Computer RPGs". Before loading the community and seeing the title I assumed that was "Chinese RPG" such as the ones by Hoyoverse, etc. You might want to spell that out in the description.

  • If it's like my state, plastic meat and produce bags are still available in the stores. Also extra thick "reusable" plastic bags are available for a small fee.

  • The very moment I turned 18 was the moment my high school senior prom ended. I only went because of the timing and location (a nice tourist spot I hadn't been to before), I didn't have a date.

Most of the rest of the year was spent graduating high school and then starting community college. Still lived at my parents' house. I did end up with a girlfriend eventually, but that didn't last long and at the time we were both conservative so it wasn't a physical relationship.

I was of course a geek then and I'm a geek now, very into computers and gaming (more games then than now).

  • I mostly agree, but there's a few holes in that flowchart:

My favorite vegetables are salt and ice.
