  • Dang. I still haven't found a replacement that has features I use like pulling up on an icon giving different actions, the separate "work" tab in the app list for my pornwork profile apps, assigning apps to categories such as 'games', etc.

I'd love suggestions if anyone is using something feature full that they like

  • If you have ever done a handstand then you have lifted over your head the weight that the entire mass of the earth has in your own gravitational field.

  • I'd say that the original statement not including "sometimes" does in fact make it the 'not a fact' type of factoid!

  • I wish that was updated for the current year (and beyond) It's important to know when giving OP's statement whether it's outside the sun at the moment

  • I think I read somewhere that they tried to include lesbians but it wasn't popular or something.

  • Some of them are definitely more descriptive than others.

Lemmy's isn't great, but at least it's not a generic chat box or radio waves, or a graph (nodes and lines)

  • The only one I like. I wish it did anything for a cough though

  • Something about AMD not being able to license the HDMI protocol in a way that allows open source code.

The main Nvidia driver that people use is proprietary, so it doesn't have that problem

  • It's been the case ever since I started using Android (and modded APKs such as old versions of apps re-signed to not update) in about 2011.

Some of the root apps back then such as Titanium Backup had features to "unhook" an app so it wouldn't appear as installed in the store, but my experience was that it never lasted long enough to be worth doing.

  • That has just always been the case as long as the app in both stores uses the same package string. (Like orgblitzortungandroidapp or org.videolan.vlc)

  • Yeah, that tracks.

I guess it really doesn't 'want' to say "not enough information" - which I think is the true answer:

If your starting point was the North Pole then you are back exactly where you started, if it was along the equator then you are within rounding error of 4m west of where you started. Start 4m from the South Pole and "4m west" ends up undefined. At the SP, "4m south" is undefined, etc.

  • You're not thinking about how an LLM works: That would be a super easy question for it because there are tons of resources about imaginary numbers and i specifically online.

But ask it to add two random 4-digit numbers (an easy task for a computer or an elementary school student) and it might get the answer wrong just because those precise numbers haven't been added enough on the web, and they treat numbers the same way they do words.

  • Lick it

    Jump
  • Seems likely to me

  • Lick it

    Jump
  • The unfortunate answer is that it knows through long forgotten experience... Anything a toddler sees goes in the mouth.

  • I can't usually taste differences in brand like that anyway, so whatever is cheaper.

  • Oh, Darwin would laugh in English. (Well, it's automatically translated to English anyway)

  • That's too bad really. Wine is an incredible achievement, even Microsoft spends a lot of effort to keep Windows programs running on new versions, and Wine goes above and beyond every update.
