I used to love the competition. So silly and fun. I have boycotted watching it since Israel has started a genocide. it's not right they are included and spoils the whole point of the competition.
My boycott means very little.
However, I am at least spared the jarring result at the end where Israel inevitably gets the most phone in points and almost wins.
I stopped B5 after the resolution of the shadow wars. which apparently only needed a plucky American to explain that that whole thing was pointless and they all just went away.
in a functioning system with an educated electorate you would hope that he would never have had a taste of power. instead we all have to hope that his health fails to help us escape from this nightmare.
20 years from now, no one will have voted for him.
it's often how I realise I'm dreaming. looking as moving shapes but still somehow being able to read it. something clicks and I know I'm in a dream. can't hold it for long though.
I believe that there will be a tipping point with politicians soon. there are Zionist lobby groups, but if you can't get elected on that platform, or pro Gaza politicians start to be seen as less corrupt then things will change very quickly.
Israel is essentially a pariah state at the moment.
