  • I'm loving this format.

  • Energy drinks have calories, that's basically food.

  • Never knew it was commonly painful, I've heard from people I know it was like a slight pinch on insertion and then no pain afterwards.

  • It's definitely pricey, a couple of reasons:

I believe the kits are still entirely made in the UK rather than Asia like so many things.

The quality and designs are arguably the best in the world with techniques far more advanced than most rivals can compete with.

This doesn't mean they don't get greedy and stick on a huge profit, I believe they heavily rely on staff who love the hobby to run their stores too and pay very poorly.

  • Can't wait to play it...in 2035 summer sale. Maybe I'll even get bored in under 2 hours and get the instant refund.

  • I'd use a skip guide if you're struggling, season 1 is basically just the opening 2 partner and 'Duet', which came out of nowhere.

But it's so so good when you get into it.

  • I genuinely scrubbed the house better than a professional company would do it today in under 2 hours. Got in the mood.

  • Everyone on the outside is definitely wondering what the point was if you guys don't uphold it.

We thought it was a nuts ritual before but now it's just cultish.

  • Is there an extension I can use to know if a site uses AWS? Their not getting a penny from me.

  • The movements between Remy and the human were involuntary and instantaneous, I think we must assume they're all quantumly entangled.

  • I wish I could remember more, it's been about 20 years since I last read it though.

  • David Hume wrote about this exact thing in (I think) an enquiry concerning human understanding.

Essentially he said all thoughts come from 3 processes:

Cause and effect - think of smoke so think of fire etc.

Continuity in time and/or place - think of kettle so think of toaster etc.

Resemblance - think of a photo so think of the person etc.

The above example would be continuity in place, the carnival lead to thoughts in the same place.

Also cause and effect...why do bees die but wasps not?

Actually possibly resemblance too, as bees and wasps look similar.

  • Every issue I've had has been easily fixable with searching and following instructions. There's not been many issues, and I can do it anyone can.

  • Works great with steam. I went back on my ethics and played wow classic for a while though and battle.net was a little tricky for me to get going. But yeah steam works perfectly.

  • I started with pop os 5 years ago and haven't found a reason to change. I'm not hugely techy and just wanted something to play games on. Had very few issues overall.

  • I want to like Bill Gates, you're probably right about PR. Even though I use Linux I still think he's been a positive for humanity.

  • Don't think the op was implying anything other than that food is a lot more complicated than it used to be.

I've worked in restaurants with similar issues.

Trying to provide at least 2 vegan options and gluten free options for starters, mains, and desserts without creating an overly bloated menu and decent variety is really a nightmare. Especially when you want to rotate dishes every month or 2.
